Saved Me With My Research Paper

All of the sources I needed in our place, plus tools to build a bibliography and modules that showed me how to use everything properly in my research paper. Got an A. Great for anyone in college, high school, or grad students. Absolutely would recommend.

Everything is credible, and scholarly. Easy to use.

Deceitful

Questia's business model seems to be centred around tricking customers into signing up.

Don't even bother with the free trial - sometimes it is advertised as a seven-day trial but it actually expires in one day, and you will almost certainly end up paying something. Customer service representatives are incredibly rude.

Don't throw your money away - there are so many good, free alternatives. (Google Books; Gutenberg...)

Without Questia I Would Have Struggled.a Great Ran

without questia I would have struggled.A great range of online resources ,that is definatly worth paying for.I have used questia now for around 2 years and without questia would have struggled in obtaining enough sources for my essay

on a wider note Iam somewhat surprised at the some of the comments on customer satisfaction.I have found their service to be good and have had no trouble with them whatsoever

I found this review very helpful because it sounded honest and sincere. There are a lot of fake reviews out there for a lot of products. Listen with discernment for this when you read reviews.

I found this review not helpful because... it was just a general endorsement - no specifics

I Signed Up For Their Free Trial Service. Since I

I signed up for their free trial service. Since I was taking a summer class in World History I needed to find some good sources. I must have used it only a couple of times. By the end of the month I remembered I needed to cancel the service. When I checked they had already billed me again. The first time was fine, since I didn't cancel during the trial period, but the second time was not. I cancelled the service and requested a refund. As others have already complained, they REFUSED!!!

I wonder who's the idiot that own and runs this company? Why alienate your own customer base? None of the customers who cancelled, got charged and were refused a refund would want to EVER do business with QUESTIA again! I know I NEVER will. Companies with good customer service want to make sure they leave the doors open. Most companies I've dealt with have been courteous enough to honor a simple request and have a charge refunded when it was obvious their services were not being used or if the customer simply forgot to call in on time. It's called a "one time courtesy refund", and it goes a long way in keeping a customer very happy. They usually return in the future knowing they were dealt fairly with, knowing they must cancel before the next billing cycle. The payoff is that the company is referred for having excellent customer service. I always have. I've referred Dell, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Comcast, Vonage, etc, etc, etc to many friends and family who have bought their products or are currently using their services. Talk about a company who's got very near sighted STUPID people at the top as their Executives. They come across as a company whose only concern is to make money no matter at what cost. Their refusal to reimburse a mere $20 ends ups costing them in the long run future revenue. However, they do make sure their $20 charge buys them a load of "bad" word of mouth. With the internet as a platform, it doesn't take much for a company's reputation to go down the drain pretty quick. BUYER BEWARE!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! IF YOU RUN INTO A PROBLEM they have the absolute worst customer service!!! I will definitely refer them, as a BAD COMPANY though!

I Signed Up For This Service And Never Used It. It

I signed up for this service and never used it. It was extremely difficult to cancel, they had lousy customer service--and they still ended up charging me for the next year. Definitely not recommended.

Questia Is A Good Service In Theory, But A Rip-off

Questia is a good service in theory, but a rip-off in practice. They are repeatedly cited for unfair billing practices (unauthorized billing, difficulty canceling, etc.) and despite that have a "no refund" policy that allows them to squeeze out of giving any money back.

This review is 100% right. My wife wanted to use their service for a college work and after couple of months she discontinued the service. She has been charge 9 times so far. Every month they tell us that they have stopped charging, every month there are new charges, not just 1 but twice. It is unbelievable how these guys work.

Please save yourself some headeque and find some alternate option.

The manager is "Luid Pedreza" is not available, no refund so far.

I found this review very helpful because I was considering subscribing To Questia and now I don't believe I will. I don't need any more hassles in my life.

I Joined Questia Not Knowing That My University

I joined Questia not knowing that my University had a similar site "free" of charge. I subscribed for one year and was charged for two years because I did not contact them to cancel. They were very hard to deal with in getting any refund and it looks like I will not be getting a refund for the services that I will not be using. As far as the site goes it is not user friendly and very confusing. After the first month of trying to use the site and trying to save the material that I retrieved, which it would not save, I began to find other alternatives. This is a terrible site and I will continue to place this message on every site that allows me to. If I can stop at least one person from getting involved with this site it will make me happy. Please pass the word to other individuals who are thinking about using this site.

As For The Person Who Was Billed For Over A Year A

As for the person who was billed for over a year and not knowing it, I really wish I had that kind of money to never check my statements then blame the company for something I signed up for. I mean you don't ask for a refund on your mortgage for the month you don't live in your house. Personal responsibility has to come in somewhere.
