When my office finally arrived it was damaged! The desk i think was a used unit as it had no packaging, scratches and even a coffee ring! the chair was not the chair i ordered. Poor comms. They don't return my calls or emails! PLEASE SORT THIS OUT!

I was quoted a delivery time of 4 weeks which is a fair chunk of time in todays online market place but I thought okay at least I'll get the colour and size I want. It is now 8 weeks on since my money was taken and any communication is because I contact them not them contacting me, plus they don't reply to email.

I'm only hoping I do not have to get my credit card to regain my money.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY.

The 10 Day delivery window was find for my order. However it seems it wasn't or I suppose I should say isn't for intercounty. After 20 days 3 phone calls and numerous emails I am no wiser as to if or when my order is coming. Customer service is terrible and completely non committal. I've been fobbed off with weak transparent lies and nonsense excuses and never had one straight answer. I've pretty much written off getting the product or my money back and am contacting the trading standards department. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. Avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered a leather chair on 22nd March and understood the delivery was to made within three to five days. Nothing turned up. I phoned to check my order and was promised a call back after a "chase up" had been made - I am still waiting for that call. I am not happy, I even checked for the validity of this company, wondering if they've taken my money and not delivered my goods! A rash step you may think- but tha is how this makes me feel! Dissapointing!

I had a very enjoyable experience doing buisness with Inter-County.com. Spoke to a chap over the phone, asking about delivery times.He promised me next day delivery as they were doing a drop up north on the next day. His promise was kept and the goods delivered on time.

The product it'self is a sturdy, well-built, and comfortable office chair that offers good support to back and neck.

All in all a good buisness in my experience :).

I have ordered classroom furniture worth £760. I did so because I thought 3 day delivery was excellent. I then got emailed telling me my items were only partially in stock despite the website saying different. They were quick to take my money though.

I was then told delivery would be 1 week. This then became 2 weeks. I have now been told the middle of January. I place the order in early November. Having contacted them on several occassions and not getting any joy from them I have cancelled the order.

Don't bother with this lot. The web site is good and easy to use but the customer service is poor, delivery is poor, and really although cheap, you actually need the goods to have value not have to wait 8 weeks when they tell you 3 days!

I rejected a few other furniture companies because they didn't look right and I ordered a chair from Intercounty and a guy phoned that afternoon to confirm. I enquired about the delivery time which was ten working days. I was offered the chance to get it earlier for an extra 10 pounds where this delivery option wasn't available at purchase, but I don't like companies doing that and I pointed that out. I know many companies don't intend it that way but it doesn't come off right. Get your delivery charges and options in up front.The delivery time can be a bit lengthy and off-putting at well over two weeks after order so you need a company that stays in contect with you. However, this is furniture you're buying and not a DVD from Amazon. Companies aren't going to have stock lying around like that and certainly not the furniture they sell. I'd rather they took their time.When the ten working days were up I got a phone call telling me it would arrive on Thursday or Friday and it arrived on Friday morning in one of Intercounty's own vans with a proper signed delivery note. I like furniture companies who have their own delivery service and it's not something you want bashed around in the vehicle of some unnamed carrier. I do wish they would e-mail as well as phone though as you're not always around to answer. All the bits were there and I got it assembled in no time.Certainly if I wanted to buy and install larger and specific items of furniture such as desks etc. I'd have no problems at all using these guys again. If they polish some of the rough edges then they'll get an easy ten.

I ordered a chair from Inter County Office Furniture and was originally told it would take about 10 days to come. After more than 3 weeks and several phone calls later, I've had a variety of different excuses from the sales dept. I've now been told to wait for a phone call in the next couple of days and to expect delivery in another week - this will be nearly 5 weeks from the date of order. No one has offered to sort this out for me or call me back with a definite arrival date, I'm just supposed to wait for a call. My card was charged straight away however. I am NOT impressed.

Found the Intercounty website to be generally easy to use and most of the products are very competitively priced. Would definitely order from again. Desks are made to a really high standard, better than those I've bought from another supplier in the past that were wobbling and bending after 6 months. Website is really simple to use and very informative.

Bought 2 desks and 2 chairs from their website, which was very easy to use. Took 3 days to arrive, but that wasn't too bad, that's the only thing really stopping Inter County Office Furniture a getting 10 out of 10.
