Service Gone To Hell After 10+ Years As Customer
Time as customer dates back 10+ years to company that was bought out by Electric Mail then Fuse Mail.Reasonably satisfied over the years, clunky and inconvenient webmail portal, but generally decent service and competent tech support on the few occasions needed.
Three days ago we received notice that our mailbox was at 5000% of capacity, after 10+ years of this not being a problem. Tech support showed us how to reduce size by archive time limits. We reset time limits, but since their server does not immediately respond, we have to wait overnight to see the result. Today, they shut off our email access due to full mailbox.
So the inbox archive has been reduced to 30 days, but the mailbox is full because their server has not removed the emails that date back to 2015.
Calls to tech support and customer service have gone unanswered, calls are not returned.Customer is really ticked off.

I've used FuseMail for 7 years with an individual account. FuseMail recently decided to kick individual customers off its platform by giving two months notice on $10 minimum monthly spend (increasing the price six-fold for individual customers).
The best thing about them is the e-mail web interface with ability to fetch mail from multiple accounts and to have custom domain names. Security practices are poor - they've had HTTP service links within HTTPS customer areas, SSL certificates expire before they are renewed, and FuseMail staff have asked for my password via e-mail.
Service quality degraded in recent years and many of their staff these days seem pretty useless at giving direct answers or answering technical questions. There were periodical technical problems over the years.
Overall, the interface is good, the support is poor, security practices are poor, reliability is average.
I think that FuseMail went downhill after it was sold to a larger company - it may have become a business with main focus on cost-cutting and money-making. Not recommended.

Fusemail Is Terrible!
FuseMail is the worst, most unreliable email service on the market. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! If you own a business be prepared for frequent long outages, lost emails, and no support. On May 30 all our emails were deleted for no reason and no explanation. ALL email history for all our employees, gone! Google FuseMail reviews and you wil see dozens of simlar stores and the lowest ratings. We made a huge mistake in putting our companies email service in their hands. Don't make the same mistake.
FuseMail does not care about their customers. My business has had to deal with frequent long outages over the last 3 years, and in the most recent outage we lost ALL our emails. They have never answered the support phone, you have to leave a message. Email support requests t only resulted in trite, canned responses. This is not a customer-centric company.
There are many other email providers you can take you business to. FuseMail is not one of them.
Wow.
You are required to purchase a minimum of 5 mailboxes and you have to create an administrator to manage your account, but this counts as a mailbox that you can't use for mail. Web calendar never loaded. Secure login page has unsecure content on it requiring you to select "show all content" then it still does not seem to login until you refresh the page again.

Absolutely Terrible
fusemail is a disaster. their support just hung up on me after sending a bill to me addressed to the wrong person. they charged my card for invoices that were over a year old and already paid.
Fusemail Fails Yet Again
I was without business email for nearly 24 hours from April 1 - April 2nd, 2012. I know I am not the only FuseMail user that was affected during that time and I know I am not the only one that is very annoyed with the way FuseMail handled the situation. They supposedly have a geo-redundant email hosting solution (announced in 2009) in place to prevent an outage like this from happening, but apparently that did nothing to prevent the problem or speed up the solution. I couldn’t send or receive emails, which effectively froze my business for the day. Seeing as how I work in SEO, not being able to email clients (especially on the first of the month) is a major problem. FuseMail was not forthcoming with how long it would take for the issue to be resolved and their Fusestatus.com site hardly acknowledged the gravity of the situation.
I have been a FuseMail customer for nearly 5 years, and this is the not the first time I have had service issues with FuseMail (read more about those here http://www.searchengineoptimizationjournal.com/2012/04/03/fusemail-service-issues/) but I find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don’t want to deal with FuseMail’s terrible service issues anymore, but moving 15 GB worth of email history doesn’t exactly look like a good time. Let’s just say I am not (and haven’t been for a while) a happy FuseMail customer.

My emails dissapeared this was the reply I got after 3 days...this is after being sold fuse mail as its has super backups and data secure!
Hello,
I would like to apologize for the delay in replying to your support request and advise you that unfortunately the server that was holding a backup of the missing emails has recently crashed and we will be unable to restore that for you.
Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you would require any addition assistance.
Thank you,

Sorry guys, it just does not work. Maybe easy to use, but doesn't work. Lots of features, storage, priced right, nice enough customer service, but nothing could EVER get resolved. I had tickets marked resolved that were not; tickets that magically got lost (I even had the email confirmation); etc, etc. I had to ask for an extension on the 14 day trial to try and get things straight! But I finally gave up. Online manual is virtually useless. When I called or tried to online chat with support, my average wait was probably in the 30 to 45 minute range. Either they don't have enough support, or there are too many things going wrong. I had 23 users in the company with nothing but complaints.

This company has the most rude support staff of any company. The reps are so arrogant and could care less about any customer. I can't beleive they are even in business. They hang up and tell you not to call back when you ask to speak to a manager.

Customer support advisers at fusemail can be very rude and patronising. They recently lost all of my folders and now want to charge me a fee to recover them.
