Bought it because it was the only non-drowsy one on the shelf and found it to be brilliant! The initial taste is terrible... sort of a burnt toffee taste with some kind of peppermint, eucalyptus vaopur that fills the airways. But almost instantly as it burns its way down the throat, you're left feeling so much better! It takes away the rawness of the throat and warms the chest at the same time. I only paid £2 for it in my little local pharmacy - not sure how much it retails for in boots etc.

Got rid of my sore throat and cough within a few days, has a secure cap fitting and needs it as the taste of the liquid reminds me of a toffee I used to have as a child.
Has a long shelf life and I would use again.
