I purchased 2 items from beds on legs last year. The mattress is fantastic the bed frame is terrible. I have had various issues over the last few months but at the end of the day they are not prepared to help any further leaving me with a bed frame that needs tightening and adjusting every 4 weeks as it is so noisy and squeaks everytime you move. Apparently it is completely acceptable to expect me to do this even though it involves lifting a heavy king size mattress off the frame - testing every slat and tighten any fittings. I don't expect any a reputable company to think that this is acceptable. Avoid unless you are a weightlifter or deaf and don't buy from this company.

I ordered a bed frame from Beds on Legs on their two man premier delivery service (delivered to the room of your choice). Customer service by the sales team was fine but it was when delivery was placed in the hands of the courier company that it started to go badly wrong. The delivery was split across two vans (no-one knew why). The first delivery was dumped in my hallway and the courier refused to help carry two heavy boxes upstairs. The second delivery didn't arrive as planned. Eventually after an abusive call from the courier and my chasing up Beds on Legs a date was set for delivery of the headboard. Under the terms of delivery I should be given a timeslot and contacted 30 minutes before they arrive. Upon delivery the courier will take the item to my room of choice. What actually happened was a bit different - no timeslot given, no 30 minute warning and the headboard 'delivered' unannounced and when I was out.. When I say delivered I mean jammed into the porch so that when my wife returned with our son she couldn't get into the house until I came home 45 minutes later.. Not quite the premier service promised by Beds on Legs. The bed itself was of very very poor quality and I therefore had to return it - which again was more trouble than it should have been. The customer service provided by Beds on Legs was actually pretty good although there was a tailing off of that once it was clear that I wasn't going to keep the bed. The big problem is the courier company that they contract with. They are without question the worst courier service I have ever encountered. Because of that I can't recommend Beds on Legs indeed I would strongly advise against buying from them until they address their delivery issues.

I purchased 2 small double beds with mattresses towards the end of October and the service was extremely good. I spoke to a member of the team who informed me that delivery of the beds would be separate to the mattresses but they would be delivered on the same day. I paid in full and was impressed with the service. I took delivery and we had the beds set up early November for my two girls aged 14. Approx two weeks after I contacted beds on legs to say I was unhappy with one of the mattresses as it was dipping in the middle, I was asked to send pictures which I did immediately. I was then told they weren't good enough and asked to send more, which I did another two times. I took a video and emailed them but it was not received. I have asked that an inspection be carried out to view the mattress but was told that this is not possible. I am really unimpressed with the after sales service and I will not use this company again - it seems once they have your money, they don't want to know of any problems. Very disappointed.

Ordered white, frame came as Ivory Head/Footboard white Headboard was bent on delivery although not difficult to straighten due to very thin tubing walls. General poor construction overall. Shame because I have brought before and was very pleased

Bed on Legs' website was great and the Zahra King Size Bed Frame was cheaper than elsewhere. Delivery process was very organised with several texts sent advising me when it would be delivered and ultimately in which time slot it would arrive. Unfortunately, reality didn't match the plan. The allocated time slot came and went and the bed hadn't arrived. After an hour or so I rang customer services. The response I got was that "the delivery team denied they'd sent such a text and had in fact texted a later time slot" - seems they thought I was a liar or couldn't read!? Anyway, it arrived later that day, and with the packaging in good order. However, when I inspected the bed frame parts, some of the wooden bars at either end of the bed had discolorations which looked like the varnish hadn't taken properly. This is unfortunate, as otherwise the bed is good quality (though somewhat fiddly to assemble). I took photos and emailed them to Bed on Legs Customer Services asking them what could be done to rectify it. I had no response. As the bed is big and costly to return, and I needed a bed, I decided to make do with product. I notice on the website there is a section for 'Slight Seconds', and though this bed was not advertised as such, I do wonder if that is what it was. So, overall, it seems poor quality control by Beds on Legs' supplier, an unreliable Delivery Team, and a Customer Services that didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my email. I won't be using Beds on Legs again.

Perhaps the photos were quite large and this is why the e-mail has not come through. To start on a positive note, I'm pleased to say the bed turned up on the day expected and the driver was happy to carry both frames upstairs. However, the quality was disappointing. The bag of screws etc had at some point split open on transit and as the box was damaged and open at both ends, I picked up a screw which had fallen out in my hallway and after thorough searching luckily found most parts except for 2 washers which were missing from the package. Once assembled, the day bed frame was not of a particular high quality (gold screws clearly showing on a white frame is not very appealing) and several parts were marked with an orange rust looking covering which could not be removed by cleaning. Also on assembling the trundle bed, the parts on the legs to join onto the main body were bent and could only be used when re-positioned with pliers. This necessary action unfortunately took of some of the white covering. Finally, I had ordered 2 mattresses to accompany the furniture did not arrive in the same delivery. One mattress arrived later that day and the driver was unaware he was missing the other one. We had to phone the delivery company the following day to arrange a second delivery. This unavoidably on our part had to be delivered to a different address as we were both working, so my partner then had to pick it up and bring it home with him.

We bought an Edwardian Day bed for our daughter. Customer service and delivery were fine but trying to assemble the bed with the instructions provided was almost impossible and took 3 hours (with 2 very capabale DIYers). Also some of the parts were cheap plastic - in particular the ends you need to attach to the slats which go into the bed. Overall, I would not order this bed again given the assembly issues and very poor instructions.

The bed was good priced and is extremely comfortable. However I waited over three weeks for the item to be delivered and the courier service who delivered my bed were disasterous, they showed no regard for my property what so ever. The bed whilst wrapped in plastic looked like it has been dragged through a muddy field and this mud was walked all through my house and scraped all along my walls up the stair case so I spent over an hour cleaning up the mess left by the delivery drivers. I was made to sign for the delivery to confirm the item was delivered in a satisfacotry condition however it was not possible to tell if the goods were damaged until they were unpacked. When I said I would not sign the form I was told to check that the packaging was in tact and then sign.

Ordered the bed as an occasional double on the 13th Nov. Delivered on 14th but when we tried it the mattress thicknesses were 2" different so it did not make a double as stated on the website (NOW CHANGED). They sent a replacement mattress the following week that was still 1" different so refused it and sent back the first one. Said another "specially made to the right thickness" would be sent out on the 28th - no show so said they would deliver on the 29th - still no show. Eventually delivered today (5/12) but now we find out that the underbed base slopes and is 1" different top and bottom! Have received a partial refund but for a total of 4 extra days waiting in for deliveries and not getting what was originally advertised I don't think it is enough and would not recommend them to anyone. Avoid! All this is now is 2 fairly flimsy single beds and as such should be cheaper!

The bed arrived promptly the problems started as soon as we tried to put it together. Parts missing from the pack, other parts badly manufactured. While this isn't the fault of Beds on Legs, the lack of support, broken promises to return phone calls about solving the problems are. Having phoned them relatively early on the tuesday with lists of the faults and having mentioned that the bed needs to be built before friday afternoon. I did expect a call back on tuesday to let me know that replacements for the faulty parts had been despatched. Instead I was promised a phone call on wednesday with an update. Which didn't happen. Neither did I get an response to my email on wednesday asking for an update. On thuraday I had to talk them through the order because they have 4 different 'presences' on the web and I had phoned one business, Simply kids beds, but they had put the order through the beds on legs business so couldn't track the complaints. I am still waiting for information on when the parts will be here.

Today I received my 4ft small double Faux leather bed, the price was very reasonable and I do definitely think I got a bargain. The delivery came next day as promise however the delivery man did not even want to bring it to my front door (as he is suppose to), he said it was too heavy, and because his trolley truck was broken he would need me to help him carry it! Surely you should make sure you have the right, properly working equipment before you leave the depot? The bed was very heavy, and he then decided he would carry the lighter part of the 2 part package to my front door and leave me to carry the heavier part of the 2 part package. (I'm a petite,not very strong woman). If I was a old person or heavily pregnant would he expect me to carry the heavy bed as well? My sister was also present, she came out of the house and the delivery man was like go and help her carry. Is this not meant to be his job? The delivery man finally helps me to bring the heavier package to my front door, however he wants to drag the white leather bed I paid for on the floor, I told him I don't want it dragged on the concrete, we have to lift it, he then started complaining. I'm sure I heard him swear under his breath several times as well. He definitely ruined the beds on legs level of service and I highly doubt I will be ordering from then again, or even recommending them.

After making a complaint to beds on legs about the delivery, I found their customer service to be excellent, they use external couriers and they made a complaint to the courier service they used. They ensured me that in future if I was to order from them they would use another courier service. I would now award them 4.5 stars and would recommend them.

Sweet Dreams `Easton` Divan bed offered as replacemnet for the one I saw on the site ( Sweet Dreams, Hanover) which had been discontinued, but not removed from the web page !! One of the drawers wouldn`t open - badly assembled; I found out because I unfortunately had to take the drawer apart - VERY POOR quality control. The drawer runners were out of alignment and damaged (likely to have nullified the guarantee). Awaiting reply from Beds on Legs. Got to sleep on the darn thing as I got rid of old bed the day before this one arrived. I wonder what the company has to say? Another review pending - watch this space........

I emailed Beds on Legs to see if they had a particular bed, they said they had it in stock so I rang and made the order and was given a delivery date for a few days later. I waited all day and at 2.30pm I rang to see where the bed was and was told it would be with me anytime now and was defintitely out for delivery that day. I waited all day and nothing came.
I rang the next day and was told there was never any bed ordered as that particular one takes 6 weeks as they dont stock it, even thought they had charged my card £329.99!
I agreed to take the alternative colour which they promised they did have in stock and it arrived two days later.
I complained and was given £20 compensation.
Would not use them again.

There is nothing wrong with the mattress itself, turned out as expected and good value for money.
It's the delivery I had a problem with. I took a day off work to recieve the mattress and come 4pm there was no sign of it so I called the company. They said they were running late (although nobody communicated this to me until I phoned) They finally showed up at nearly 7pm. I could have not wasted a day off from work or I at least could have gone out and done something with my day!! VERY ANNOYING!!

Customer service is of the highest priority within our company and the courier company that delivered the above product was not unfortunately our contracted courier, it was the manufacturers contracted courier company as the product was delivered direct.
We no longer deal with this manufacturer due to the problems faced by the above customer and all their products have been removed from our website. We do not deal with companies that do not match our standards for good quality and service. It was the first time we had dealt with this new manufacturer and now the last. We are very sorry this customer had this experience.
