“Poor/non existant service”

I have used other companies in the past, but Saga are the worst I have ever used. First they say my claim paperwork never arrives, then I get the vet to fax them over, but they say they did not get full paperwork, so returned status, nearly a month and nothing. Was promised yesterday I would receive a letter in post, but nothing arrived. Telling all my friends with pets of my terrible experience with them, and as I am over 60, it stands to reason that most my friends are of the same age group. I thought Saga was a name to trust.

I absolutely agree - I am in the process of complaining not only about the slightly underhand service but also about the massive increase in premiums - got a sick animal - how about a 70% increase in premiums. The claim forms are unclear and they completely forgot to include the fact that you are able to claim for travelling expenses it you are referred to another vet - if it happens to you - keep all your petrol and any other receipts. They must think animals can get there on their own. I am going to complain BIG TIME - not only the CEO but the Financial Ombudsman,
