Loved It.... Britney Spears, Gimme More, Bea

Loved it....

Britney Spears, Gimme More, beat for the song was a really good beat and fabulous to make dances to it.

Her voice in it sounds more mature and old instead of childish like normal. Overall i think it was brilliant but hard to get use to her making more songs.

As Much As I Love Britney Spears, Gimme More , You

As much as I love Britney Spears, Gimme More , you really should hear Piece of Me (her next release) and Toy Soldier, these two are my fave on the album. 'Cos of all the bad publicity she has received lately people are just waiting for this to crash and burn and that is kind of shadowing the fact that it is a good club song.

So, After Much Media Attention For Various Crimes

So, after much media attention for various crimes against style, losing the plot and basically everything but her music; the queen of trailer trash has decided to make her comeback. Gimme More is the first single from Britney Spears' forthcoming album Blackout and is released on October 9th 2007.

So, has Britters still got it? Well, it's not a bad pop tune, however the chorus lacks that general punchiness and ability to embed itself into the innermost depths of your musical memory (whether you like it or not) of her stronger work. The word 'gimme' is used far too much and although the beat is commendable, the overall track is a bit of a slow burner that doesn't really do much to complement at best, mediocre vocals.

Overall, a probable fan pleaser and definite top 10 hit; but just not big enough a song for a comeback. Sorry Britney, but you may have lost your touch.
