“Just not robust enough”

Entering it's second season now, this is giving us problems with the plastic bodyparts falling off and now we find these are not warranted. Poor after sales service. The engine is fine; the various bolt on components on the chassis are not robust to give a long service life. Very disappointed.

“I bought one of these 2 years ago. Like other...”

I bought one of these 2 years ago. Like other reviewers, it's often hard to start, but eventually gets there.
My problems are with the front wheels. On both now, the adjustment lever has broken. One one, it means that the front wheel now no longer supports the machine. Couple that with the fact that the propulsion has just packed up, and I'm of the view that the machine is designed around the warranty. Not too impressed!

Faulty engine, very, very hard to start. Mountfield after sales were useless, first port of call wasn't taking work for 6 weeks ,second point of call I couldn't get past answer phone. Took it back and got my money back.
