The Poison Is The First Full Production Album That
The Poison is the first full production album that the 4 Welsh boys; Matt Tuck (Lead Guitar, Vocals) Padge (Guitar, some vocals), Jay (Base, some vocals) and Moose (Drums) have produced. This is a follow up to an EP called Hand of Blood (see separate review) which delivers some serious Bridgend, Wales, born metal punch! The music is quite a heavy cocktail of vocals and instrumentals which can really liven up a persons spirit. As well as being hard hitting metal it has a singable quality too (albeit a loud scorched throat sort of singing)... opening with a very slow building intro directly into track 2's explosive opening (which is much the same as their entrance to the stage - having seen them 3 times at gigs or festivals!) right to the last track 'The End' listeners are not disappointed. There is not a single track on this album I don't like!!
Track list:
Intro
Her Voice Resides
Tears Don't Fall
4 Words
Suffocating Under The Words Of Sorrow (What Can I Do)
Hit The Floor
All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)
Room 409
The Poison
10 Years Today
Cries In Vain
Spit You Out
The End
A number of these tracks were award winners, tears don't fall was a particularly massive success.
The guys are currently working on a follow up album which I would suspect is going to be huge on the British rock & metal music scene. This should be bought and played loud long before this!!
