The starting up process was disjointed and many questions where repentantly asked.I was switched more than one contact who asked the same questions Evenualy the conclusion was very good and over all I am happy

I found the process from start to set up very easy. I feel I was listen too and given all the right advice. I felt like I was treated fairly and as an individual to my current circumstances. The only delay was waiting for a creditor to send details and I feel I had to keep calling to ask for an update. I appreciate you've now called me to advise you had the information and it's all agreed however it would of been nice for an update phone call in between or email. Overall very happy and thank you all for your help and putting your customers first.

We have had great service and the staff are really helpful and understanding. Nothing is too much trouble. They keep us informed and ring us regularly. We really feel like we are being taken care of and feel confident about our future now. They put us at ease about everything and give us all the information and answer all our questions, making certain we understand what is going on. We have had bad experiences with other companies who have let us down badly . All we can say is thank goodness for DFD. Very professional and easy to talk to.

I was feeling really stressed because I am struggling with money. I needed a payment holiday as I need to catch up my council tax Feb and March before end of tax year. I felt quite comfortable talking to this staff member. She made me feel I was relevant. After she told me that it was ok to have the payment holiday I asked if I could discuss my situation. We were able to calculate income and outgoings and then reduce my payments temporarily so that I can catch up with myself.

The process of obtaining an IVA was made very easy for me by DFD , everything was explained beforehand and the documents needed were listed . When everything was ready the courier collected it , it was easy for me and everything that was arranged took place on time which I was impressed by .If I had known how easy it was I would have applied much sooner

I recommend DFD highly as they really do help you to sort out and manage your financial disasters. The peace of mind that comes from completing the process cannot be rated highly enough. I would advise anyone who is worried about rising debts to contact them and have a chat about their situation. Its a no obligation talk and you never know, they could be the answer to your prayers. I particularly like the fact that if you have an emergency payment to make any month i.e your car breaking down and needing a repair etc that you can have a payment break for that month to pay for the work to be done without too much hassle. Again, peace of mind, invaluable.

From start to finish the whole process was fantastic. All the staff I spoke to were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Iech step was explained to me in great depth, all correspondence was sent via email and post so we were able to send everything back via email and this made the whole process quicker. I think from start to finish my case was sorted out within 2/3 weeks. I don't think there is nothing I can say about the process it was great. Thank you for helping me get on the road to a debt free future.

When the Financial Conduct Authority came into action in April 2014, they conducted a thorough investigation of Lawrence Charlton and all of their 14 associated Debt Management Brands. They found that LC were withholding just over £750,000 of their clients' money and have been holding it for many years. This is due to the fact that when they issues cheques and BACS payments to creditors, if any details are incorrect the payments are sent back. The issues with this is that LC have no process for what to do with that money when it is returned and so have been holding this money for years as it continues to grow. They are currently in the process of trying to return this money to their clients. Some people are being refunded pence, others thousands.
The issue with this is that they are not telling their clients that in accordance to UK Financial Laws, their clients are entitled to claim interest on this money for the length of time it has been held for at the current rate of interest set by the Bank of England.
I urge anyone who has any affiliation with Lawrence Charlton, Debt Free Direct, the Fairpoint Group and any of their affiliated brands to get in touch with them and request your money back plus the interest you are legally owed.
I worked with these guys in a middle management position for 3 years and I've seen the underhanded and deceitful lengths they will go to in order to cover up the truth. Please get in touch with them as you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
