Do you have a lot of spare time at work and nothing better to do then be on the phone for hours? If so ecourier is the perfect service for you. They are rude, incompetent and made most mistakes then I can be bothered to write about. 1. I didn't have an account, they never asked and almost charged another company for my deliveries because we had a similar business name. This set me back half a day and they never apologised. 2. They changed the quote and made it more expensive 3. I had to ring them many many times and they only have one number on the switchboard. I was put on hold endlessly. 4. They got the payment details wrong. 5. They got the address wrong for one of the deliveries. 6. When I rang to correct this I subsequently found out they just deleted this delivery from my order. 7. When the delivery man came he kindly took the package but said it wasn't in his order list. When I rang them they accused me of never booking it in. 8. They never apologised when I sent them the email proving that I had booked in this parcel - apparently there was just a glitch on their system. They also asked if I had paid for this parcel- like they might charge me again! 9. They can't send an invoice for a week which they never mentioned before - I am expecting not to receive the invoice. They are blunt and unhelpful by email.

booked a bike hours in advance as it had to be collected before a certain time, even made sure the collection was schedule 2 hours before the client was leaving. Was never told when I booked that there was a chance it would be hours late. Had no idea that they were not at the collection point on time time until my client told me 40 minutes later. called to chase and was told it would be another 40 minutes. Called back about 15 minutes later and was told it would be 16 minutes - I questioned if this was accurate or not as my client had to leave and was eventually put through to control. They then told me it would be a further 60 minutes from that point. Way to late to collect from my client. At no point did anyone call me to tell me my pre booked bike would be delayed by 2 hours. Was told that it was busy as it's the Christmas period and that is why no one called me - think I was supposed to accept that. Person in control just spoke to me as if I was being unreasonable and should be totally fine with the fact that a pre booked bike for an urgent package never showed up. I had exactly the same situation with a bike in October though so I think this is just how they operate. Would never use again and would never recommend. Begrudged having to give 1 star to be honest as they didn't even deserve that

We recently used ecouria to delvier some packages for our business. Firstly they had not booked us in on the date we had agreed but were only told this when we called to check the day before. Despite giving them all the details of the deliveries, they stated they coudn't 100% guarantee that all of them will be delivered but did not give an alternative. When the drivers arrived, they had not planned their routes and we had to sort that out for them. Not all the packages were delivered but we were not informed of this until we saw the packages left outside our company from the night before. They have no formal contract which leaves companies at risk should they not have time to complete the job. We will never use them again.

After calling to discuss a cancelled booking I have received terrible service and I am shocked at the attitude of the staff, including the managers who I have spoken to, being told "That's life" and "It's not our responsibility" so I have still been charged the full amount even though no delivery took place! What started as an unfortunate communication problem has resulted in several emails and phone calls wasting my time to no avail because the company policy is all about making money and not customer satisfaction! I will never use this company again and suggest everyone else avoids it too!

incompetent staff, charge to much for van hire, ins, charge money for any little thing, you can never make money with this company.when you join you have to pay equipment deposit of £1200 when you leave they pay it back over a 9month period which is fair enough incase any summons appear, but in the mean time make up damages done to the vehicle you hired to reduce payment to almost nil so be aware, clients always moaning about the way they opperate.

I found this review not helpful because this is obviously an unhappy ex courier rather than a customer. ecourier operates a fair and impartial employment policy, has many satisfied employees and couriers and has an exceptional list of loyal clients. ecourier reserves the right to protect itself from damange to the property it loans out and conforms with market practice. Deposits are built up over time whilst reduced rental rates are applied. ecourier also ensures that those couriers that work the hardest and have minimal sick days end up with the most jobs and therefore bonuses.Still, as can be seen from this review - ecourier can't make everyone happy all the time! :-)

Sullen and petulant staff failed to inform properly of collection time meaning they arrived post-working hours. They then blamed me and slammed the phone down! Completely ruined any hope of delivering the parcel on time.
Even before ordering I was given the run-around from department to department. They offer good value, but this is due to shoddy workmanship and abusive staff. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fairly quick to arrive ... 55mins. Lost parcel. Use ecourier at ones own risk. It took 9 days to locate the parcel and only offered £10 compensation.

The Ecourier's Comment

ecourier operates inline with industry practice and practices fair and consistent employee policies and procedures. Practices are designed to encourage long term commitment to employment. Deposit collection is assisted by a reduced van rental during the build up period. Repayments are made on leaving ecourier depending on the amount of time with the company. General practice is 20% on leaving, the next 40% after 3 month and the remaining 40% after 6 months. This accomodates for outstanding PCN's and possible insurance claims. Vehicle and equipment damage is assessed at the time of departure.

New customers and retention is extremely high for the industry and ecourier remains a leading organisation in terms of employee practice, service and technology.
