When my J&M Integratr IV arrived I was over the moon id managed to order all the correct components id needed, as the company dont offer set kits. I had to cut up my helmet to make it all fit and i was away. everything was good for 6 months only using the system for my pillion and mainly using the radio and phone function when on the bike alone.

The unit is very loud and only the hard of hearing would possibly need to use full volume on the unit. this is a great advantage on motorway trips. but....

.... the warning signs appeared.

I contacted the company to try to get a simple lead for the Garmin sat nav I had. I was told they would make one especially but after a few more emails I was ignored.

The biggest issue by far and the one that led me to write this review was that all reviews on the net i could find were written after 2 week tests and nothing long term. Well i have just returned from 2 weeks touring on my bike for 8 hours everyday and the integratr really let me down in a big way. At first the connection from my helmet to the unit had a bad connection internally, this was mildly annoying as the sound would go from one ear to the other unless i moved the cable around, then on week two the same cable at the helmet end started to do the same thing, buy the end of the trip both helmets had the same problem to the point that i had to disconnect out of sheer frustration. Also on the odd occasion the unit would make a high pitched deafening squeal and switch off.

Based on this I can only tell you to steer well and truly clear of this product, if only someone else had done this very review before me I could have saved hassle, time and money.
