scam company stay away and save your money,scam fake loans stay away.

Theses people are simply just out to rip you off! I was looking for a loan of £2000 to be paid off over 27 months, I see the UCC website & thought it sounded promising. However I called them only to have some woman take my details & then tell me I had been excepted for a loan.Then she told me that she was going to pass my details on to another department where they could set up my loan, when I was passed to this department I was once again asked all the same questions as to what I was asked previously by the first member of staff. I was told that in order to get my loan I had to pay £50 to set up the application, I thought this was acceptable for a loan of £50 so paid it. Then shortly after I had paid I was told that my details would be past to all the loan companies in the UK that would be best suited for my needs & that I would be contacted by the most suited one within the week. I felt conned at this point as I was told that the £50 was to set up my loan. Anyway to cut a long story short I was bombarded over the next few days by loan companies offering me loans with APR rates of anything up to 50% or something stupid like that. Put simply the UCC company are just out to rip you off, they get you to pay £50 saying it's to set up your loan, then just pass your details on to loan sharks all over the UK. Please for your own good stay clear of theses robbers.

I was extremely sceptical when I contacted these people but their assurances that they could help seemed genuine. I however still asked for a farther 24 hours to think about things.

Finally I agreed after getting the sales woman to repeat to me that I was guaranteed a loan at 15%. The call was recorded so I agreed and paid the fee of £59.80.

When you have submitted the payment a page is opened for you in their website for you to communicate and where they show you the status of your loan. All looks very impressive but its all for show. Noone ever answers your questions within the site even though its claimed that all queries will be responded to within 5 hours.

Anyway on the third day it was stated the lender that they had matched me up had rejected me for a loan. The loan was rejested at 65% and not the 15% originally promised. I would never have accepted this loan even if I had been accepted !!! But it shocked me that we had talked about a loan at one rate and immediately they accepted my money they went straight for a lender who lends at a much higher rate.

Then I was bombarded with offers for same day loans and guarantor loans.

After asking more questions in my personal page and recieving no responses I called to complain and was brushed off. After being eventually promised that a manager would call me back by the end of the day I sat back only for the phone to remain firmly silent. By noon the next day still no call so I called again.

I have never known a company that refuses to put you through to a manager and are quite frankly rude.

I would stronglky recommend people to steer clear of this company and others similar as I strongly believe that its all a big racket that prays on people in desperate circumstances.

I have spoken with a solicitor, Consumer Standards, The Office of Fair Trading and Trading Standards and all see enough evidence to investigate farther on the grounds of the way they trade and also have spoken with the Financial Ombardsmen with regards to the financial aspect of the contarct between myself and them.

I recieved my money back after kicking up "merry hell" but I know Ive had a lucky escape - didnt get the loan I wanted but I doubt anybody ever will.
