Never Believe What They Say!!
Urgently ordered parts for my car. Told customer service that I only want the parts if they can deliver next day (friday). They told/promised me that they can deliver it. Of course it didn't arrive. When I called, it was not their mistake but the warehouse did not see that the package was urgent. Well, that does not help me at all. Losing money over the weekend since I can't work. It's not worth the few quids that you can save when ordering from them. Advise to buy from proper company who know what they are doing and who you can rely on and take your order seriously.

Sham Company Full Of Conmen
Bought a supposedly new driveshaft from them. They took over 2 weeks to deliver. Paid on 31 October and as of today I am still waiting for delivery.
They blamed Volvo Sweden and told me it will come on Thursday, on Thursday they told me to wait for Friday, come Friday they told me to wait Monday, come Monday, Tuesday, come Tuesday, Wednesday etc.
With hindsight, I should have bought from Volvo UK dealers and pay the £100 premium for a spanking new original/genuine drive shaft, instead of waiting for 2 weeks for a new dodgy one.
I have to tow my car to my home as my mechanic had to space to keep my car for 2 weeks (Yes, they collected the old drive shaft to sell to Shaftec for a profit while surcharging me £62.50 which they have still not yet refunded - I am also beginning to doubt whether all this wait was because they were waiting to sell me a reconditioned/refurbished drive shaft!).
Bunch of conmen - do yourself a favour, buy from somewhere more reputable. Cheap parts can be expensive, not only financially, but also in terms of wasted time and efforts, porkies and calling again and again to follow up delivery and refund.

Very Poor Service
Online Automotive supplied me with the wrong Knock Sensor(cost £43) on 20/10/2011.
I returned the part to them on 7/11/2011, following their email of 3/11/2011 saying that they would refund the £43 I had paid.
I then found that my bank had paid them twice.
I wrote to them on 1 / 12 / 2011 detailing the double payment and the return of the item and seeking a refund of the double payment made to them.
As at 30/12/2011 I have heard nothing from them despite a further email to them and have not received a refund

Warning Do Not Ever Use Online Automotive - Taking Them To Court!
Online Automotive supplied the wrong part, then refused to take it back. It was their fault as they selected the part based on chassis number and reg. Then they refused to take it back because I had tried to fit it. Refused point blank to return goods, trading standards have said they have to take it back but Online Automotive are refusing and never call me back. It's not worth using Online Automotive, use another company.
