Don't Use Skytalk If You Have High Usage
Disgusted with sky's "talk" package. They put a restriction on my phone line because I had "high usage" one month. NO outstanding bills etc.. account clear.
They are now demanding that I pay the excess PRIOR TO MY NEXT BILL BEING DUE before I can use the landline again!
So, I'm switching broadband and phone.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with them.. Restricting service when ALL bills are up to date etc...
Would not recommend this company to anyone and will also be getting rid of the TV package once the contract ends in July! I want nothing more to do with sky!

All looks legitimate and they kept in touch up until they said my payment had been dispatched but it has never been received and as other reviewers have stated they are impossible to make contact with !!!!!!!

This Company Is A Total Scam, How Are They Getting
This company is a total scam, how are they getting away with this. They have received 3 of my phones about 4 weeks ago, acknowledged that they had received them and that payment is on its way. However not received as yet, tried contacting them but is impossible to as they dont answer phone or emails. Contacted trading standards. They are a bunch of cowboys - stay well away people.

I sent 2 phones to them which they confirmed receipt of and despite recieving e.mails (once on 24/12/10 & once on 25/12/10) stating that they had been received and my money was on its way I NEVER RECIEVED MY MONEY and they are completely uncontactable!!! I certainley would not recommend them, stay well clear. I am seeking further advice..................

Switched To Sky Talk With Broadband And Tv Package
Switched to Sky Talk with Broadband and TV package as a cost saving measure. Everything happened on the day it should and if I have looked for any help it has been given quickly and actions taken immediately - much better than BT who charged me for add ons I did not have for 12 months and did not care.

My Experience With Sky Was Horrendous. If You Are
My experience with Sky was horrendous. If you are lucky enough not to have any problems with them, then you for value its fine; but if there is even the smallest problem, trying to get ANYTHING sorted with customer services is practically impossible. Firstly, they put you on hold, if and when you get through to someone, you get put onto hold again, and then passed onto someone else who cannot help you with your problem.
For example, we were told by one representative that we definitely needed an engineer to look at the line, when we tried to organise the engineer to come, we were told by two other people that we definitely DIDN'T need an engineer. After, about a week of expensive phone calls, it turned out we did need an engineer.
I could go on but all I can say is that it's absolutely infuriating dealing with these people.

I'm considering purchasing an android phone made by Sky, a coworker of mine has one and it looks impressive and he swears by it about it's 13 megapixel cam and wide screen display and clarity. Although having done some investigating and research I found that owners of the Sky android phone say that they're experiencing trouble with the phone holding a battery charge, that the phones battery doesn't last long and generally requires it needing to be constantly recharged frequently. Do you know this to be true?
