Bedshops R Us is affiliated to Best Choice Furniture - see reviews already listed on this site.

I placed an order for a leather bed from Bedshops R Us, and paid for the bed using my credit card on Saturday 4th August. The site offers 72 hour delivery on items that are in stock.

Immediately, I received a confirmation email from the company confirming my purchase. The email took me into the site and into my account and showed the purchase as pending.

On Monday, I again checked the site and was surprised to see the item still showing pending. I checked my credit card account and found that the purchase had debited my account, so I called the company.

The phone number given on the site for sales enquiries, just went straight to an answerphone. I left my details on the answerphone and requested a call back.
On Tuesday I had not been called back, and the site still showed pending for my purchase. I went back onto the website and found a different number to call for delivery and return enquiries. The company that answered this number was Best Choice Furniture. I explained the situation and asked if the item was in stock. Best Choice Furniture stated that the person dealing with my Bedshops R Us purchase was not at her desk at the moment, but the item was in stock and it would be processed that day for a delivery by the end of the week.
Reassured, I waited, but Saturday came and went with no contact from either Bedshops R Us or Best Choice Furniture. I started to investigate further and found the very poor reviews for Best Choice Furniture on this website.
After reading the reviews that state that Best Choice offer very poor quality customer service and long delays before delivery, with some customers not receiving their goods and being unable to get a refund. Also, one reviewer stated that the leather bed they eventually received was plastic and not leather... This left me with no confidence in Bedshops R Us, and I sent a cancellation email to the company. I also disputed the amount with my credit card company, citing non-receipt of goods as a reason.

Bedshops R Us offer a refund policy, but state that if the customer cancels then they will deduct a 3.5% credit card charge if paid for by credit card. If the company do not deliver by the agreed delivery date or in the event of no agreed delivery date, after 30 days, you are legally entitled to a full refund.
My advice to anyone who reads this and still decides to go ahead and place an order with Bedshops R Us is to pay by credit card.
