Beautiful Rooms, Very Clean, Staff Really Friendly
Beautiful rooms, very clean, staff really friendly and helpful, beautiful beautiful view across the fantastic beach, great for little kids. I have 2 teenagers and most evenings then ventured to Ciaros bar, every night they have a different theme, you know they are safe because the village is so small and really no where for them to wonder off. You MUST go to the Terrace Resturant opposite the tabaco shop. The menu is a set price around 10 euros per adult, the food is out of this world, every night the menu changes. Please be advised you have to book if eating after 8pm. There is NO other resturant in Cala Llonga where you have to book, so that speaks volumes, this is a family run business and I cannot express how fantastic the food is, please try you wont be disappointed. I am one of those fussey wifes whos husband looses thew will to live sometimes. TRY IT

Nice Clean Spanish Apartment. 1 Bed Room, Lounge W
Nice clean Spanish apartment. 1 bed room, lounge with kitchenette ~ plenty of cutlery, plates etc, Microwave but no kettle (Luckily we had taken our own.), Bathroom with 3/4 bath and shower and decent balcony with two chairs and a table.
Plenty of hanging and storage space in both the bedroom and the lounge and plenty of plug sockets for charging gameboys, cam corders and for hairdryers.
Great position by the beach with a large area outside but undercover for eating and drinking.
Food on the complex that we tried wasn't too bad but we only really had snacks ~ hotdogs, sandwiches & Garlic bread with drinks. The staff were generally polite.
We didn't hang around the complex at night so I have no idea about the entertainment or kids club.
The apartment was cleaned every other day and the towels replaced. A sponge/scourer and washing up liquid were provided.
The pool was crowded during the day but the beach was so nice with huge numbers of fish to snorkel with we didn't need to be in there.
The beach is excellent for children, you have to be around 20meters from the shore before it drops to over 1.2mtrs deep. We had 1 day when the jelly fish were about (to help combat excessive numbers of Jelly fish sign up to adopt a turtle ~ a serious decline in their numbers in the med is one contributory factors in the huge explosion in jelly fish. A male turtle can eat up to 1 ton of jellyfish a week!) There is a life guard on the beach and if you do get stung they will help ~ otherwise carry a few sachets of Vinegar that really helps.
For food we tried flippers (Good Food, fast service) not bad at breakfast apart from the fact my son was having sausage sandwiches E3.75 whereas my daughter had just 2 slices of toast which cost E3.90 which we found strange. SOS restaurant was Excellent food wise but the service was abysmal ~ we ate there 3 times and on one occasion I had to wait 40 minutes just for the bill at the end! Cala LLonga Restaurant was OK but very dear compared to the others. We also went to the Chinese up the road on way out of the village ~ the service, food and price were all good.
The cheaper supermarket for milk water etc was at the right of the fountain just behind restaurant Cala Llonga, they also have a deli counter and fresh bread & Fruit, Cava started at about E2.95 a bottle. The spar at the top of the beach was far more expensive.
After our meals we drank at the Mayfair bar which is up a small path from the fountain next to an Italian Restaurant(Valentinos), it was a nice place to spend the evening, he has 3 separate satellite systems so there is constantly sport on the tv but without the sound apart from during big matches. This place shuts around 2am.
If we were still up for drinking after 2am we headed to Zahara by the beach who generally were open till 4am.
The apartments were great, we loved the beach but I just don't get the Ibiza "Vibe" so I don't think we'll be back ~ I'm much more of Greece bunny.
