Panasonic DVD-S511

When looking for a cheap dvd player that can perform well I prefer to look at cheap models from the big branded producers such as LG, Sony Jvc and Panasonic that i know will perform their task better than their nameless contemporaries.This leads me onto the Panasonic DVD-S 511 which i find fits the criteria correctly. Okay, it's not as inexpensive as the £30 Grundigs you could get, but its guaranteed to give you good quality movie playability.The PerformanceSo how does this player perform. Well, it does what i want it to do, which is provide a platform that shows movies to a very high standard, without technical or mechanical or electronic difficulties.Picture playback is great, stunning indeed and with the surround sound system it packs a punch.Very easy to use with appropriate functions and easy to install and get going.It plays in all recognizable formats and is great.

My Panasonic DVD-S511 is freezing on a lot of dvds half way though , have to play them upstairs on dvd player, but i brought this to upscale dvd to 1080 so defeats the object. Well wont buy another panasonic item.
