Restaurant at Brockencote Hall, Chaddesley Corbett, nr Kidderminster

Hi - Browsing the net looking for new interesting places to eat came across the last review for Brockencote, where I have gone for meals once or twice a year for a number of years, and have to say I have never come away disappointed. The staff are welcoming but low key and efficient, the surroundings are roomy and pleasant summer or winter, and I find the food excellent (and I have eaten at good restaurants -Le Manoir, The Fat Duck, Waterside Inn, La Becasse, to name a few) and I feel Brockencote need not be ashamed of its food or service. Just thought I would like to redress the balance of the last review, we can all have bad experiences, but I for one have enjoyed my visits to Brockencote

Very disapointed. The chef clearly believes that by using fancy ingredients his food will taste equally as fancy, however sadly this is not the case. I would reccemend that people avoid this restaurant.
