“recliner extremely noisey and judders”

bought suite from scs. It is a recliner and was not demonstrared to us properly. The suite was back to back with another in store, so the salesman could only recline it a fraction cutting a long story short it is not suitable for my disabled wifes needs. It is not what we were asking for. When reclining apart from being extremely loud it also judders. when fully reclined there is a huge gap. Bought an SCS Casper 3 seat recliner sofa at the beginning of August 2017. Delivered end of September. Had a few issues with it already, so called them them and they sent someone to inspect it. The same guy just left for the 2nd time. Point 1: Both manual recliners were extremely stiff to the extent you looked like a floundering fish trying to get it to recline or go back into place, and needed to have a proper 6 pack to attempt it. Met the person I dealt with on arrival and she was pleasent and welcoming and offered us a drink straight away, then left us to browse around at our leisure but when we needed her help she was very professional and helped us to choose our settee and chair and then she mentioned about the offers on the carpets so she spent time matching carpet samples with the settee which wasn't any hassle for her, she was very helpful but not too pushy on getting a sale! so thanks a lot to her. I purchased a 3 seater sofa and the salesman gave measurements,showed me sofa that roughly size would be, and an extra large cushion. I received the wrong size sofa and cushion and then told I had ordered wrong item? Sales man charged me over odds for smaller sofa not grande! If only I had known checked order said 3 seater how would I know he ordered the small three seater, am a very sick person as the salesman knew all the stressed caused me attacks and was sent back to hospital cheers… Read Full Review

Bought two Lazy-boy leather settees from SCS Doncaster 14 months ago paid £4000 cash plus £200 for extended warranty after 12 / 13 months use by me and my husband both pensioners the leather started to peel SCS and the insures castellan group both say nothing to do with them absolutely terrible feedback and communications from both company's . i orderd a carpet and a chair, i got 2 men to come and move all the furnitur out of my loung and paid them, the day befor delivery i gust rang then to make sure, thay told me my carpet had not got to the wearhouse, thay compencated me with £50. the folowing week we were upsid down, we sat in the dineing room with no tv no comfort atall. the carpet finaly came and was fitted by two nice men and a good job. the chair came a week after, no problem. we ar now back to normal. … Read Full Review

I wouldn't recommend scs to anyone I ordered my leather sofa on the 22nd of January 2017 paid for it I was told It would be here in April and then may it finally came the 7th of June and then it was the wrong sofa so it had to be reordered I finally got it on the 11th of October I have wrote to head office and they haven't replied how rude is that , and they are advertising on TV order your sofa now and get it in the for Christmas what a lot of rubbish… Read Full Review

I purchased this Lauraq 2 + 3 seater sofa from SCS. Well thw sofas arrived in November 2013 and up till 3 months back were fine . The two seater where I sit started getting lumpy .
