Ordered and paid for 3 piece suite in august was told delivery 5 weeks but was not contacted until middle of October and then informed after arranging delivery one of the chairs was missing contacted store very lax in information had to keep phoning as they were not coming back to me they were always waiting on information contacted delivery company who were very helpful and they would contact store on my behalf 2 days later store phoned missing chair had been found finally received on 13th… Read Full Review

I wouldn't recommend scs to anyone I ordered my leather sofa on the 22nd of January 2017 paid for it I was told It would be here in April and then may it finally came the 7th of June and then it was the wrong sofa so it had to be reordered I finally got it on the 11th of October I have wrote to head office and they haven't replied how rude is that , and they are advertising on TV order your sofa now and get it in the for Christmas what a lot of rubbish… Read Full Review

I purchased this Lauraq 2 + 3 seater sofa from SCS. Well thw sofas arrived in November 2013 and up till 3 months back were fine . The two seater where I sit started getting lumpy . I bought four swivel, arm-chairs from SCS and, recently, one of the twenty legs snapped. I took it back to the shop and was told that, even though it was out of warrantee, I need not worry because it was covered by a five-year structural guarantee, and a five-year ‘Duty of Care to the Customer’ agreement. Absolutely disgusted by this company! Do not order from here or do so if you want to wait longer then 3 months for a sofa. (Yet to still be recieved) Me and my partner moved into our new home nerly 3 months ago now with still no sofa as when we ordered they first said 'sofa will be no more then 4 weeks', 4 weeks later we had a phone call from scs saying the fabric we wanted was discontinued which was the first problem, we went into the store to then choice another fabric, we should of cancelled… Read Full Review

I had a full house done in carpet from here. Carpets took over a month to come then arrived in the wrong size, after another week they arrived and put them down but unfortunately there are bubbles all over and have cut my feet on the stairs where the grippers have come through. Not only has it not bin laid with care or properly it was also wet I assume from being stored outside the night before fitting! Wait until you have used it for a few months. If it is like the pair I bought it might be a different story. Mine had inadequate padding and took two inspections that said no fault and a third complaint to Executive care before they sent an upholsterer to adding more padding. Then at some time before fifteen months I found a Screw had fallen out from the reclining seat. After I reported it I was told it was outside the warrantee and could not be fixed. The period is two years. As I complained I was told to pay for a inspection. The inspector did not address my complaint but found that the frame had parted. He jumped to the conclusion that it was due to me moving it to another address. I had as I thought an independent inspection done but have since found that the company actually work for ScS. He did however find a multitude of faults. ScS will not do a repair as the MD regards repairs as a " Gesture of good will" not a contractual obligation. Action in the small claims court seems to be only alternative.

hello mate sorry to hear about your ploblem the reason they not fixed it is because they only made to last a month and they don't have enough man power to repair them ours your lucky as was broke before it even got here if you take them to court beware 1st of all you cant let them do a repair.2nd you got there legal team who got more tricks than a monkey and uses them to good effect .then when you finaly do get to court after they remind you how much it cost.you find someone inpersantion a judge .when I told her our suite was still creeking it replies why don't you record it.!i ad to walk out and lol we lost our case but not to worry the bigger the bill the bigger the picture .should be closed down

Top end leather sofa fell apart after only three years (after multiple earlier faults), leather on arms split and ripped as leather too thin and unfit for purpose. Scs advised that due to the age of the sofa (three years!) I was not entitled to any repair or compensation - and that came from the CEO! The managers are the worst! The latest one even impersonating a senior manager (Bolton Store) the worst Flag Ship store ever. Three different managers in 10 months says it all.
