We have had one of these for about 2 years. Then it started making weird noises. On opening it all up you can see why. It has a plastic casing for that surrounds the cutters and that casing has split in several places..result doesn't shred and gets clogged up.
Why don't they make things to last anymore? so I am forced to go out and buy another one I suppose, well it won't be a Fellows machine far too plasticky for my liking.

I agree with Roger Slapes review, except for the star rating! My P70CM has worked for 3 years, but never to the performance claimed by Fellowes. It has competently shredded 3 or 4 sheets of 70 gsm, but it got really unhappy when asked to shred credit cards or an envelope folded in 2. It makes a bit too much noise. Finally, it decided to give up when my wife gave it an envelope. Lots of reversing and forwarding finally cleared it, only to find that it had shredded all the teeth off one of its cog wheels. I'm off to buy a different sort.

I would not touch Fellowes Powershread products even for £20. Dreadful waste of money.
