I've been here a few times and it's a nice place for a meal and drink. It's a little pricey but otherwise very good. There's a VIP area upstairs which is a bit more relaxed. Recommeded!

The Pitcher and Piano really is located in a great place, right across from the river. We decided to have lunch here, as it was a nice sunny day. When it came to ordering, we were disappointed to find that 2 of our choices were unavailable, so we had to change our order. The drinks arrived on time, but it did seem to take a while for the food to be served. When the food did arrive, we were slightly disappointed by the portion size. My food was slightly greasy, which did not go down well with me. I would definitely recommend coming here for a drink, it's really a great location and has a great atmosphere. Just a little disappointed with the food.

You can always expect to have a 'good' experience in a P&P pub. They have nice settings and nice, clean and contemporary environment inside. However their drink & food selection is a bit predictable and not very daring, which is a problem with all chain pubs who cookie-cut their approach and drop it into any new pub they acquire. But all in all P&P is way better than most other chains who i won't mention by name (you know who you are!)

The Pitcher and Piano in Richmond is in a great location, right next to the river so if you sit in the terrace you have a great view. It can get quite busy on sunny days and evenings so be prepared to wait to be seated. We ordered some lunch and were disapointed that they had no parma ham and mozzarella or Sicilian Lemonade but ordered elderflower presse and coke instead with Caeser salad and potatoes. The drinks arrived quick fast and the food wasn't too far behind. The staff were friendly and greeted us as soon as we sat down and were attentive even though it was pretty busy by then. I would recommend the Pitcher and Piano for drinks or a bite to eat if the weather is good.

I had drinks with a friend there last Saturday. We were there for about 3 hours, and were going dutch. Come end of the evening, My tab was 112 pounds. According to the bar staff - on that tab I had drunk 12 Guinness...coupled with my friend also doing rounds...that would have put me on around 20 Guinness. Now I am not a massive drinker...but these guys and girls are so aggressive...I just ended up paying it. Now I spoke to friends of mine who now no longer go there...for the exact same reason. Bar staff adding drinks onto their account. DO NOT...DO NOT WHATEVER YOU DO...Run a tab...because it is the biggest con they are running.
