I have signed up for Time Warner cable when I moved to a rental house in July 2016. They offered me a rebate of $300 gift card if I choose higher priced package and keep the package for three months, they will issue me a $300 gift card. I suckered into a higher package and had it for almost a year now. I realized it has been almost a 10 months and I have not seen any gift card. I just called the TWC to check the status. after 3-4 different department, they told me they no longer has a rebate program. They can't give me a rebate gift card. I filled out all the paperwork, got an email confirmation it will take 3-4 months to process. It is not the gift card but how they just ignored the promise they make to consumers to their convenience. I thought they should honor the offer because the offer was valid when applied for it. It is not the fault of a customer if the company decide to end the offer during the process. I am very disappointed at TWC. Never again Any other customers out there, do not buy premium packages on rebate promise unless you really need it.

This is the most unprofessional, least knowledgeable, not give a COW PATTY company that I have ever dealt with!! I made an appointment last week for today to have service hooked up, had her check 3 times to make sure my address was serviceable, they were coming between 8-12, and you guessed! NO SHOW AND NO PHONE CALL!!! I called and was transferred 3 times, told my address was not serviceable, got a supervisor on the phone, and the rest is just just even worth telling. TOO BAD YOU YOU CAN'T CHOOSE NO STARS! GET YOUR TV AND INTERNET FROM ANYONE BESIDES THESE CLOWNS!!!

If you have the option to purchase your internet services elsewhere I highly encourage you to do so. Unfortunately, because of where we live this is our only option. We pay $50 per month for what Time Warner calls "High Speed internet" but I can't accomplish anything with this internet. A project that should have taken me an hour has turned into 4 days now. This is do to constant buffering and "Internet is not responding". We have called Time warner on a couple different occasions now only to be told this is the best they could do. We even purchased Time Warner's router because they couldn't figure out the Motorola router we had installed previously. As soon as we have another company available to us we will be switching.In regards to the Customer service department, the staff is always friendly but they have been unable to help with any of our issues thus far.

Am currently Timewarner cable user, and am paying 80$ just for internet. When called to add phone service to my account with the same price as they already have a bundle package of Standard TV+Internet+Phone for $90.00...Customer service team tells me it is not possible. I am not happy with the response and nor with the amount am paying just for internet. and am paying this amount from past 1 year. I am really disappointed and hope to find a better internet service with low price than what am paying. I would not recommend anybody to go for Timewarner cable as they are not genuine in what they say.

Time warner has been robbing me for over 5 years now. Their internet sucks ass, their tv service sucks more, and their customer service people are idiots. I wait on hold for 2 minutes to hear there is nothing they can day about my cable being out? I will cancel my cable and get my entire apartment complex to cancel this piece of poop company. I don't know how they sleep at night knowing they are so stupid. SCREW YOU TIME WARNER

If I could give it negative stars I would. Can't even get a simple move order in place it's been since January- it's now almost June! If I was able to go any other carrier in the area I would have been with them a LONG time ago!!! I would recommend to my worst enemy!

i have had this over priced service for a yr now. I am being charged 80 bucks for 15 channels and internet and I have double channels and if the wind blows you lose service and if you call twc for help no one can figure it out and they are rude. Worst cable service I have ever had the displeasure to have.

I was scheduled to have time Warner cable, Internet & telephone in my home on 7-22-15. The time scheduled for new install was between 1-2 pm.The installer didn't show up till 6 pm. I didn't get a call from TWC explaining why the installed was so late. I told the installer to cancel the order[time warner cable uses contractors as techs for installs in the Louisville, Ky area]. I took a half day off from work to have TWC installed... What a mistake..... I should've listened to the time warner customers who have had endured customer service nightmares

I moved to North Carolina in January. I got my internet and cable hooked up the same day I moved here, so the 3rd. The internet started out great, all of my games would run at 80 ping average, smoother than at my previous home, I was very happy. This all ran normally until about late February, I'd say. My ping had rose to an average of 100, which was very unusual, but I'd accepted it, because I didn't notice any really big lag spikes or any usual lag or anything. I was generally very happy of my service I was receiving! All of my friends had warned me that Time Warner was not good before moving, but I wanted to see for myself and I knew they were wrong! Have you caught onto the main point of this yet? Obviously, these services have since deteriorated. That 100 ping average I told you about? It averages about 110 now. Actually, by the rate and frequency of these lag and ping spikes, I guess I'd average about 700 ping on a good day. I moreso have a high ping than not. If you ever have these kinds of problems, don't bother contacting Time Warner. They'll send out a tech who will come to "figure out what the problem is" and then reassure you that it'll be fixed in a matter of days. It's been 3 weeks. My internet has only gotten worse. Where's that help you promised? After haplessly posting multiple times on the Time Warner official forums and getting my topics locked by a moderator and getting the "Thanks for using our forums!" message, I finally decided to write a review for this AMAZING business. Oh yeah, if you have ANY problems at all, don't bother calling them, you'll get a person who barely knows English, and don't bother using live chat, you'd get better help talking to a brick wall with a face painted on it. Time Warner is garbage. Actually, calling this abomination of a business would be an insult to actual garbage. This company would be better if it were just non-existent.

Awful customer service, installation service, billing, etc... Read the Better Business Bureau regarding how many complaints they have filed against them and not to mention those complaints that individuals never file. Do yourself a big favor, RUN FROM TIME WARNER !!!!!!!!

first let me start off with my local office staff here is outstanding. I called to inquire as to why my bill has gone up this is the second time, after 30 minutes on the chat their employee disconnected chat. This is twice they have done this to me.

I never write reviews for companies, but this service is so outrageous that I have to voice it. I will be finding another way to have cable in my home, this company shouldn't even be allowed to be in business with the way they operate.

This company has the MOST terrible service known to man. I cut my box off many times just to watch regular cable & even that wasted my time. I was watching tv & pixels started messing up, again this is "regular cable" I unhooked my box & still this company isn't worth ish. I believe they need to just end this company IMMEDIATELY!!!! I would never consider this to anyone!!!!!!!!

I hate time warner cable. I have had it less than 1 year and I have had to change out cable boxes 3 different times and I continue to have the same problem. I would be in the middle of a show and it would turn channels by its self and then begin to reboot itself. I cant even get through a 1 hour show without it doing that. Then it takes forever to reboot. Then they tell you to trade out your cable box as if it isn't an inconvenience to do so. We host parties all the time that involve movie night or watching a fight or something and I have the same issues while we have guest over. They still expect you to pay on time even if your cable isn't properly working. The only reason I still have tw is bc there is no other cable service available in my area. I can't wait to move so we can switch providers. I am so tempted to just cancel but I have children that love children's on demand.If I didn't have kids, I wouldn't have time warner. On a good note, I have never had a problem with the internet service.

Time warner cable has to be the worst company and worst customer service I have ever experienced. Extremely overpriced and they literally offer nothing. Don't bother trying to call and have someone help you unless you have at least 2 hours of time to waste on hold. Every single call I have made to this company has been 45+ minutes. They'll say "let me look up your account" and put you on hold for 10 minutes for something that takes 30 seconds. I have had a technician come to my house 3 times and still have not received the services I ordered or cable on all of my tvs. Not to mention you will have to explain your situation to at least 3 different representatives who will transfer you countless times because they don't want to deal with it. If TWC wasn't the only cable company in the area I would without a doubt cancel this service and make sure that nobody I know has to go through this absolute torture.

With no warning our contract expired & every month the y increases our bill without telling us why. Finally we called to find out what was going on & all they offered was a new contract. Hell NO! We decided to cancel our service & they charged us for an additional month of service insisting they needed a 30 day cancelation notice. After they screwed us over for almost a year instead of helping they screwed us one last time. Do not get Time Warner Cable. If we all boycott hopefully they will change & if not go out of business

I have had many internet providers in my time and TWC is without a doubt the worst I have ever had. Our internet doesn't work over half of the time and the customer service department is not helpful at all. Each time I have called, I have been on the phone with them for well over an hour each call and nothing ever seems to get done to fix the problem. I am currently on hold with TWC right now and have been holding for over 25 min to talk to the 4th person today. I would not recommend them to anyone who is serious about wanting internet. Very disappointed with this company and how they handle problems that arise.
