found the system very easy to use, took me a few minutes to find the right hotel ! large choice but some hotels lacked information.

I booked a hotel in Sicily through www.horse21.net between 22 and 24 July 2007. I used it because the hotel site did not have an online booking facility and I was too lazy to speak to them on the phone. The room was a "Seaview" double.

When we arrived at the hotel, late at night, the reception staff told us that our reservation had been canceled. They showed us a communication from the travel agent informing them that we had canceled our booking and instructing them to deduct one night's fee from my credit card as a penalty charge. Fortunately they had spare rooms (not "Seaview" though) and we avoided looking for another hotel in the middle of the night in a foreign country.

Upon my return I asked the website for explanations, plus for my booking charge to be returned as they did not offer me any service; on the contrary they nearly ruined a perfectly deserved weekend in the sun. I still haven't had a response from them.
