Wild Atlantic prawns were rubbery and tasteless, the cat ended up with them ( much better from Aldi) ribeye steaks were so flattened they look like slices of beef.King Scallops were okay . It took 3 attempts to get a suitable delivery date. they cancelled twice. I certainly won't be buying again despite all the lovely pictures on their website of the food they sell.Very disappointing experience

A goodtastefoods man came around the house with his little hat on and proceeded to unload with what seemed like the entire contents of his van into the kitchen expecting to sell several of these large boxes that were supposed to fit in a standard sized freezer compartment, it was like being strong armed by a double glazing sales man in your home frankly. To get rid of him I bought 2kg of frozen Haddock, the cheapest selection they had on offer for £30.65. Finding a piece of fresh line caught Haddock in the freezer from a couple of weeks ago bought from the local supermarket the package stated £2.50 for 250g. It's not hard to work out which was the cheaper and better option, buying 2kg of the same (fresh) fish at the supermarket would have cost £20 on the nose and it wasn't on offer. I the markup appear similar for most of goodtastefoods items, and way too expensive for bulk frozen products, they don't have to worry about spoiled food so they should cost far less (ever wondered why Iceland is cheap?).
I think they take advantage of many peoples lack of knowledge regarding common food pricing with on the spot door-to-door sales tactics. Not recommended really unless you don't live near supermarket or food market in general. If they come, have a calculator ready, and if you want them to leave tell them you simply have no room in the freezer and to leave a catalogue so you can review the costs in your own time.

I wonder if you are aware that when a supermarket says "fresh" it usually means within a week!! if your lucky
I think you will be surprised at how "fresh" supermarket food really is a
Why don't you put your head on and think about it.
I have no affiliation to Good Taste Foods, but I'll bet a tenner it's a lot fresher than a supermarket
