ordered one item over 6 years ago and got sent back via post office 3 days later. I then had a statement saying they did not get the item. it did get to the werehouse. I then found out that they would not take the outstading balance off due to not reciving it. My account have been passed to a recovery agency chassing for the money i have sent 3 emails and 3 letters to great universal and 16 weeks later still no reply. Would never use this company again nor to any friends.

Overpriced goods and extremely unhelpful and often rude customer service. Would NEVER use again and certainly would not recommend to a friend. I didn't like the way I was spoken to over the phone and the very often unhelpful attitude of the staff on the other end of the phone.

poor & expensive to phone Customer service. Wasted time waiting for a delivery on several occasions. Still waiting now, despite promises and reassurance. I no longer wish to use Great Universal. More hassle and expense than its worth.

I am sorry to use this site but it seems the only way i can get through to someone. Recently i was given a settlement on my account which i paid up straight away, then i was told i owe £130 pounds that was last week, i have tried to sort it out but nobody got back to me although they said they would, today i phoned again and now i have been told i owe over £160 pounds i am at my wits end, i am disgusted by the way i am being treated and i would like somebody in authority to get back to me. i ordered items on the 15th feb and 4 days later im still waiting for the clothing items. its a disgrace. i rung up great universal to ask where my items were only to be told that they should have arrived by the 17th feb and i should have them and they have been dispatched so there is nothing theu can do. nothing they can do, does this company not keep tracking numbers on thier products. surely they should know where abouts their products are. 3 days we have wasted now sitting in waiting for parcels to turn up that havent. iwouldnt dream of keepin a customer waiting like this its discusting!!!!!!!!!!!! ill never use them again. i would rather stick with next and pay the delivery charge least you know your going to recieve your items when they say they will arrive.

I have been trying to get cash back from www.greatuniversal.com going back 4 years. I haven't received any reply to my letters yet. when I've phoned they agree that I've not been in arrears. I've been with them 15 years and had nothing but excellent service until recently. they do acknowledge they've had problems but seem to offer me no help.
