Returning a clothing item, I had taken the wrong delivery note with me. The Kidderminster branch, worked really hard to help refund my online purchase, even though I had the incorrect paperwork. Using my email order confirmation number, he was able to assist and process the refund there and then, no need for me to make another journey! Thank you fantastic customer service; Very patient and extremely helpful.

When asked for substitutions for food Sainsbury’s should ask for a certain substitute instead of just substituting.for exampe If I want cravendale milk and it’s not in stock if I ask for substitute they can give me and milk but if I ask for a percific milk like Sainsbury’s filtered milk that would be better I would get at least some milk I want instead of no milk .

Today I had a Hermes 'return' parcel to drop off at Sainsburys in Warlingham. Firstly I couldn't find where the drop off was and then I finally found it in the car park. A really chap who was working at Sainsburys tried to help me return the package, but no luck. Then the manager, saw us and she was brilliant. She had so much patience, (which I was lacking!) and she wouldn't give up, finally she found out how to do it and I was able to return my parcel. She was so kind and I wanted the store to know.

My local sainsburys didn’t have any 1 pint size full milk. So I bough a carton of Graham’s Farm milk very impressed with their milk really tasted good. I buy a small full fat milk to bake scones. Will be trying their other milk too as impressed with the quality Hoping Sainsburys will be stocking it long term.

I have only recently converted to online shopping and now I will never go back to fighting my trolley through busy aisles and queuing on a Saturday with bored kids. Now the time saved is my own to enjoy. This is worth more than with the delivery fee which was only a little more than my petrol cost to start with. All my items were delivered on time and with a smile. Thoroughly delighted with this great service!

Website contains the meal plans, recipes and shopping lists and is a great on line resource. Easy to use and buy on line. You can choose a time slot so you aren't waiting around for delivery for ages. They delivered promptly. Items are incredible value for money and the recipes are easy to follow. They are generous portions. A little bit bland maybe but you can add seasonings, herbs, spices etc. that you have in store. It is a great idea to save time and money and meals are healthy. I bought as a gift for my son. would be great for students, young families and people on a budget. also great for busy people.

So far i think they provide THE BEST customer service, i even phoned them and complimented them. Their deliveries are sooooooo flexible, they give you the option to choose your delivery date via text msg's and all the delieveries were ON TIME.

I have used Sainsburys for my grocery shopping on two occasions now, and have been impressed on both accounts to the extent that I am now convinced enough to use them going forward for the bulk of my shopping. I'd signed up to Tescos and Sainsburys on the same day, but Sainsburys offered more flexibility on delivery dates and the delivery costs were tiered (cheaper on Tue/Wed/Thurs I think?), whereas Tescos charged the same (higher) rate for all the available dates. I'm not sure whether this is how things usually are as I merely looked once and it was during the Christmas season.. I did compare a few items on the websites and Sainsburys appeared to have a wider selection of items and were cheaper, I think I looked in the bread and milk section. In the end I decided to order with Sainsburys so as to take up on their offer of free delivery on orders over £100, on Tuesdays. I think the delivery would've been £3.50 once I'd made it to the £40 mark.. or £6 for anything under £40..I personally wouldn't bother to order if my shop was under £40. Anyway, navigating the website is easy enough, the products are arranged into aisles and things are quite easy to find, the search function is a little primitive (one word search), but I guess there's no point in making it all complicated as you can easily navigate through the aisles and categories. The shopping basket is on the right hand side of the screen and you can periodically go to save your trolley and/or preview your trolley. I found the trolley quite good i.e. it would update on any offers you are eligible for, and you have the flexibility to edit the number within the trolley. The checking out process was easy too as you would have registered your payment details etc during registration- don't forget your Nectar card details!! The order is confirmed with an email and then you wait for the delivery. There is a 1 hr delivery slot and on both occasions, the delivery men have turned up within 10mins of the beginning of the slot, the delivery guys have been polite and friendly. So far, the deliveries have been accurate, I'm not sure on what the policy is if any items are missing or incorrect, I guess I will have to wait and see. Reading some of the earlier reviews of Sainsburys, it looks like they have come a long way since they started. They have a substitute policy now whereby you can specify whether any items in your trolley can be substituted with another item if it was not available (you just change the default to canot be substituted and isn't as tedious as it sounds), I find this feature quite useful. So all in all, very impressed, but I am aware it is early days. The last thing I want to say about them is that they take AMEX which is a bonus so I can clock up my cashback points, thanks Sainsburys!

Fantastic service! That's really all I have to say! I am recovering from a major op and have been unable to go out and do any shopping for a few weeks, so this service has been invaluable to me. Everything I ordered was received, apples were not bruised, no bumps or dents in anything and all was delivered right to my door.

What more can I ask for?!

The charge for delivery is £5. a small price to pay for such excellent service me thinks!!
I will continue to use this service even when I'm better now. No heavy shopping to lug about, no waiting at check outs, no parking hassles or traffic hold ups on the way. Better than Tesco I have to say, I have used them and received bruised fruit and battered boxes.

Sainsbury - 10/10 every time.

I have to agree, easy to navigate website, helpful drivers and items delivered as ordered with no damages, brilliant!
<br/>I don't shop online every week, I tend to wait until I receive an e-voucher via email so I can avoid the delivery charge with a little extra taken from my bill ! Helpful service for stocking up on large bulky items.

When I read the question I was amused by the thought that "blank" in the question might have been a derogatory comment. I gave up with Sainsburys. There were so many technical issues with the website. I have been using Ocado. At least the website is comparatively user friendly.
