How does this company have 4.7 stars when all the written reviews are clearly 1 star showing it’s a sham? Please check your algorithms which verify the average number of stars received. This company has now taken money from me based on the idea that your site is correct so I checked the stars and your site shows 4.7 but clearly after taking time to read the reviews, it’s a sham and I cannot find a single review showing a successful unlock.

I am trying to change networks from Vodafone to O2 but when I insert an O2 sim it says no service. Can anyone help?

you need to get your phone 'unlocked' from vodaphone. O2 may do it for free or may make a charge. Alternatively get a code number from one of the advertisers on this web page. I personally buy sim free phones so I may change providers as and when I need to.

Hi, I hope this information helps and sorry, I have only just noticed your question. 1 Turn your Vodafone mobile phone on and dial #*06# on the keypad. Write down the 15- to 17-digit IMEI (international mobile equipment identity) number that appears. You will need this to create the unlock code. 2 Go to this unlock site and enter the IMEI code. Select Vodafone as your network and then your country. Enter your e-mail address and your payment information. You should receive your unlock code by e-mail in a few days. Alternatively, you can take the IMEI code to a store that unlocks phones and unlock it there. 3 Now that you've purchased an unlock code online, if doing it via this website, turn the Vodafone mobile off and take out the battery. Take out the phone's memory chip (SIM card), the white plastic chip underneath the battery. Insert your new O2 SIM card into the phone, put the battery back in and turn it back on. 4 Type in the unlock code you purchased. Click "OK" and wait for the phone to restart. Once the phone comes back on you will see the O2 network logo at the top of your screen. However, if doing it in store; they will probably just do the process for you, after payment, as a guess it will cost about £17 depending on the network etc., both online and in store. I'm unsure in-store though as I just unlock mine online. If they don't fully complete the process for you in-store; just follow the steps above. Take care

I bought an iPhone 6 from eBay and did not realise it was locked to O2. I tried one unlocking company, but they could not unlock it. Will Mobile Unlocked be able to help?

They unlocked my HTC Sensation. They've sent me instructions with a code to unlock it. You'll have to check on their website for supported models. They're serious people!

I have only ever used Mobile Unlocked to unlock Android phones. My feedback on them as a company is that they do what it says on their website. Their website says that they do unlock iPhones and they do it the "official" way using iTunes. Based on my experiences with them I believe that they can unlock your iPhone. For me, the real question is whether it is worth £87 to do so?

As long as the phone isn't blacklisted they should be able to help (for a small fee some websites will check this for you). They unlock with Apple directly rather than going through the network - I've read a lot of reviews where they've refunded customers whose phones they can't unlock, so hopefully you don't have anything to lose - T

You can get the phone unlocked with no problem. I have had a couple of second hand phones and have both unlocked with no trouble.

Yes, you can, but Orange unlock is very expensive. The only way you can't unlock is if you have a locked screen with pin and don't have the information of the original buyer. I had an iPhone that was locked to Orange and after several tries to unlock not paying 200 bucks he unlocked himself, I believe 2 years after the original purchase.

I did this in September 2014 via Mobile unlocked for Orange but different phone, everyone else wanted £30, Mobileunlocked charged £10 and received code within a day. All worked as I would hope it would and all they needed was the IMEI number.

Orange has always been one of the most difficult network to unlock mobiles, but that has changed recently. They used to take over 3 weeks to unlock but recently they've done it within days. Not sure about the iPhone. Might be easier if you've been using it for at least 6 months (that is an old policy with new phones so may not apply tothe old ones). Best just to fill out the form. You've got to have a top up of around £21 (give or take a few pennies)

only apple can unlock an iphone and this request is normally made from your isp. I suggest that you speak to an orange (EE) shop as they send the request to apple who udate their server and email you to confirm. You then have to do use itunes to reset the phone back to facory default and then update via itunes with the software updates. If you already have an iphone backup from an older iphone you can restore this backup to the new phone. Not sure if you need proof of purchase to do this but if it was stolen it would be blacklisted and therefore be unuseable. hope this helps

We have just bought a iPhone 4S locked to an orange network. We would like to unlock to the 3 network. We have contacted Orange and because the phone was bought from Phones 4 U, Orange will not unlock it, they recommended a website 'officialphoneunlock'. They charged £20 and said the phone would be unlocked in 12 hours. Two days later they said it would cost another £100 as the phone was not bought direct from Orange. Is there a cheaper alternative to this?

If you have just bought it & it is locked to the Orange Network, then it implies that you have it on an Orange Contract - in that case, you will be charged for the remaining part of the Contract. Otherwise, most of the "Unlocking Companies" should be able to offer you a service very simply & a lot cheaper.

Don't mess with Orange - like all the networks they will rip you off to unlock - although they should not be charging more than about £20 they will make you wait - perhaps a month or more - but should NOT charge you the balance of the contract. Never heard of "OfficialPhoneUnlock" but they are clearly a complete scam and rip-off. I can recommend MobileUnlocked, based at least on my one experience with them in summer 2013. I was locked to T-Mobile who wanted to charge me and make me wait a month (just before going abroad!). MobileUnlocked process was very simple, took a few minutes and cost me £7.99. First part of the process allows them to tell you whether they can do your particular phone/contract combination and what they will charge for your particular case. No commitment to proceed at this stage - unless you decide to do so. Take a look!

Contract notwithstanding, MobileUnlocked will charge £27.99 to unlock. I used them to unlock a Galaxy S2 and the experience was fine. Other unlockers are, of course, available !

I used MobileUnlocked and paid £17.99 last year to have a Samsung S3 unlocked. The service was simple and quick. I wouldn't touch anyone who gives you a price and then multiplies it by five but there may be a good reason to do with iphones that I'm not aware of.

Orange are a complete waste of space, and do not be tempted pay £100 for an unlocking code. I have found the following company very helpful and reasonably priced - mobileunlocked . Good Luck

I was given a phone which was with orange, but as I didn't want to stay with them orange was contacted and they said the would send the unlock code for free in a few days, after 4 weeks and various phone class, I went to mobile unlocked and by the following day I was given a few codes to try and my phone was unlocked. Anytime I need a phone unlocking in the future I will certainly be using them again.

I had an iPhone unlocked by Orange. I paid £20 and was supposed to have take 21 days - it took about 2 months (that was probably the exception). If its locked to Orange they should be able to unlock it. I did submit a request to mobileunlock, but they couldn't unlock Orange iPhone (this may have changed). The cheapest would be Orange themself

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini (pay as you go Orange phone) which I bought from Argos. My phone when purchased was locked to the Orange network. I then came across Mobile Unlocked and they unlocked my phone for me within a few minutes having paid £17. I can now use my phone with a SIM for any network. However, different phones have different fees for the phone to be unlocked. So you may want to check their website to see if its any cheaper as I read that most phones usually only cost £17 approx. I know there are a lot of trickster unlocking sites about though and this is the only one I have personally come across which is genuine. I unlocked my phone in a way that I can now use it on any network

Hello while on vacation in the UK I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which I was using as a pay an go on O2 service during my stay there but was unaware that it would be locked on my return home to Barbados. Can it be unlocked?

Should be able to unlock it. If it was locked to Orange, usually the most difficult. I've used them twice without any problem. Got it a little bit cheaper when I used the link from giffgaff. Otherwise go straight to their site.

When my contract has ended, EE directed me to HTC UK to have it unlocked and pay them. Mobile Unlocked did a pretty good job unlocking my HTC Sensation. You must have a different operator SIM card, in order to test if the unlock worked.

Usually you need to know both the IMEI number of your phone/tablet and the service company that blocked it in order to use unlocking services. Since you have both (Instructions on how to get your IMEI on the Samsung FAQ page), you shouldn't have any problems. Cheers & good luck!

According to their website, suggest they can unlock it for a fee. One assumes from your question that you brought it in the UK as part of a PAYG package with O2. It might be worth chatting to them to see if you could get it unlocked free or at least cheaper with them. Of course O2 is part of a much bigger company - Telefonica - and they may just have some affiliate company in Barbados who they might freely transfer it to. Good luck.

Hi. I used mobileunlocked last november to unlock my galaxy note 3 from 3 ireland network. They should be able to unlock it once you provide the imei and network. You will need to insert a sim from Barbados or another network different to the one the mobile is locked to. I think they also provide the region unlock code aswell with the sim unlock. All UK providers unlock phones free of charge, apart from EE. Contact O2 customer services, they will need the phones IMEI number, this can be found by typing *#06# It might take a few days to receive an email with the unlocking details, but worth doing it this way, if there's no charge.

I have used mobileunlocked for 5 different phones up to now and every time I have unlocked each device without 1 hour. No trouble, no fuss, and even when I did have a problem it was answered and sorted within 24 hours. Just go to their website and put in the phone details to find out how much/how long.

Most phones can be unlocked for a reasonable fee from this website (and for far less and far quicker than going through the service provider). It worked for me for my HTC Desire / T-Mobile. But it does depend on model and contract. Check their website.
