Do Not Use

I recently booked flights with Brussels Airlines. Big Mistake! Worst airline I have ever use. Delayed flight, shocking staff and no resolution management skills at all. Never again.

No Problems At All

Enjoyed a round trip JFK-Brussels in Aug-Sept. Everything was fine, pleasant staff, entertainment system good, yummy food, no luggage problems. Ultra civilized, and we look forward to next vacation on Brussels Airlines. PS, again, really enjoyed the dining service.

Worst Experience Ever! Do No Flight Brussels Airlines!

They lost ours (2 bags) as well hundreds SINCE June 17 (12 DAYS until now) without any new until now. Support is rude and not supportive at all, no calls, no emails, no contact number. Check their FACEBOOK to check how many claims do they have ON A DAILY BASIS, also law claims. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Terrible Airline

This is the worst airline we have had the misfortune to travel with. Our flight out was delayed and we missed our connecting flight. We were booked onto another flight but our luggage got lost and was not returned to me for several days.

On our flight home, the flight was cancelled an hour before departure, we were rebooked to another flight to a different city with a bus ride and yet again our luggage never turned up. We struggled to get any help with obtaining our luggage and my husband spent hours on the phone trying to locate it.

I will never use this airline again and I will ensure I inform others of how poor this airline is. Make sure you ask for a copy of your customer rights when you have to deal with customer services to ensure you claim the correct level of compensation. I have submitted a request for compensation I am still waiting to hear about this.

Flight Bru /agp 6/9/2012 2012 Business Class Michel Snoy

A well organized Flight from check in to arrival inclusive . A comfortable Flight aboard an A320 Airbus on schedule . The Cabin Crew were polite and helpful . A tasty warm meal was served . Security , itinerary and transit information were visible on the screens simplifying the journey for everybody. It is pleasant to note that Brussels Airlines continue to renovate their Fleet in the interest of their customers ,likewise useful for the overall handling of the Aircraft .

Beware Of Spraying, Does Not Care If You Get Ill, They Hide

I Flew United Airlines to Africa and it was awesome. Bruseels Airways however BEWARE!!!!! As I boarded the flight from Banjul Gambia, the cabin door closed and the flight attendents made the announcement "ladies and gentlemen due to health concerns we will be spraying the cabin, please remain seated"

Without any PRE NOTICE at time of purchasing tickets it was not made known. We were given NO CHOICE to NOT get sprayed! THE SPRAY IS PESTICIDES that are banned by the US, but other airlines use it! IN the 6 hour flight I became very ill.. When I returned home, I had to see the doctor. I called brussels airways, emailed them, emailed the PSA company in France to FIND THE CONTENTS so I could get TREATED, and EVERYONE BLEW ME OFF.. I found out 2 other ladies on the same flight were HOSPITALIZED...

I Called Poison control and they could do nothing. I contacted Channel 2 news to even WARN PEOPLE of these SPRAYS, and NOTHING...

THIS IS WRONG, WRONG, WRONG for an airline to spray not just 1 can but 4 cans of this spray without PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE!!

I would love to pursue this, and I WILL NEVER FLY BRUSSELS AIRLINES AGAIN and TELL PEOPLE BEWARE...

Their service is horrible, flight attendants are short with answers and not polite, and they are the smallest tightest seats I have ever flown on!

Beware Of The Lfg (lowest Fare Guaranteed) That Br

Beware of the LFG (Lowest Fare Guaranteed) that Brussels Airlines boasts about on their website. A friend of mine was lured by the Brussels Airlines "Lowest fare guaranteed", and despite complying with their terms and conditions to the letter (the t&c were studied thoroughly), they nevertheless refused to give him back his money. According to their guarantee, they will supposedly beat a competitor's price by %10 if you purchase their higher fare instead of purchasing the same (but cheaper) ticket at a competitors' website. Sounds simple? Well as all things in life, what sounds too good to be true, generally is exactly that: Too good to be true. Don't fall for it! Read through the blog post, and you'll understand why I believe that you won't recieve any "price match" let alone any additional refund from Brussels Airlines. The customer service representatives are all nice, courteous, helpful and promising up until the moment you book the flight and they have your money. Once you punched your credit card into their system, you can probably forget about seeing a single penny back from them, despite all of their promises. I wrote a blog post with all the details. Hope others can learn from this and avoid falling into the same situation. http://bgreenson.blogspot.com/

Possessions Were Stolen From Baggage While In Transit!

Not only was my baggage delayed but further more, possessions - my camera was stolen from the suitcase while it was in transit! When I rang up Brussels Airlines about this, they were extremely unhelpful and didn't offer to look into it. They didn't even bother to apologize for the theft either! All I would advise here to all is if you wish to travel within Europe, you're better off with KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss Airlines and others as they have all been more reliable and have had no bad experiences with them concerning theft or tampering of peoples baggage.

As Part Of A Group Of 10 From Sweden, We Flew With

As part of a group of 10 from Sweden, we flew with Brussels Airline as they are a "kayak friendly airline" and as seasoned international paddlers we are well aware of the problems of travelling with big, bulky and colourful plastic boats.

The (telephone) service we recieved when booking the flight was relatively smooth and without complication, we made a provisional booking and waited a week when they called us back to confirm the details. At the check-in at Bromma Airport the staff didn't cause any fuss and we rolled in with bags, kayaks, paddles and passports with minor distruption to the other passengers.

Our first flight to Brussels was about 20 minutes late but this was on account of Brussels airport being frozen over New Years eve (as it was over the rest of Europe). Therefore not a problem.

The plane itself was a mixed experience, we flew economy class and the plane looked a little dated, the seats were simple yet surprisingly comfortable with plenty of leg room for a chance.

My only gripe with the plane itself would be the entertainment, the plane must be fairly old as there were no personal TV's to watch only the communal ones which was a bit fuzzy and distant from my seat. With this there was no option to watch the fixed program which doesn't suit me personally!!

Food and drink wise.. again room for improvement, the food was bland even for aeroplane food and especially for Belgian standards. To top this off I think the staff were a little tight giving the drinks out. Cost cutting maybe but what's a couple of Gin and Tonics for a few well behaved paddlers.

Overall, I think it was great value for money for a flight to the southern half of Africa from Scandinavia. The free transportation of kayaks on top was an EXTRA BONUS as many other companies especially KLM/AIR FRANCE will charge in excess of 600 euros just for this much sporting equipment. (For the record in 2010 I did 45,000 miles flying and it was the 5th time I've flown with a kayak).

I will fly Brussels Airways again but next time I'll bring a book and a bottle.
