Great iron - but if it falls to the floor from your ironing boards it will not survive. There's a securing screw into a very weak pillar at the front of the iron. This breaks very easily and partially detaches the tank and handle from the base. How often have you accidentally knocked your iron off table or board? My one fell onto a cushion floor not a tiled floor - so be warned and maybe think about a different make!!

We have had this Bosch TDA8339GB iron for about two years now. It is quite robust and the add-on sole plate cover does a good job when ironing fabrics that could go shiny. It produces a good quantity of steam and the spray button has not required cleaning - this was a problem with other irons we have owned.
