Got one of these expecting a premium product. It toasted one side lots other side little. Had it replaced, must be faulty. Replacement is the same. Phoned Dualit.. That's normal! What nonsense. They have ignored e mail complaint. A British company with good name screwing it up. Disappointed in product and Company.

Bought this on the strength of Dualits reputation and as it looked nice. 18 months later it died with a bang (literally). Thats pathetic for a £60 toaster. My previous Russell Hobbs £15-20 toasters have lasted 10 years plus. Last one was still working when I replaced it because it was looking tatty. Dualit were not interested in doing anything about it. They seem to have put their badge on a cheapish China made toaster to justify a very high price for what it is. Thats a good way of destroying their brand image. I would not touch another of their products now. Bought another Russell Hobbs for £19.99. Does the same job and looks OK. I suggest you do the same
