We Bought The Primo Viaggio To Fit On Our Buggy. W
We bought the primo viaggio to fit on our buggy. While it is bigger than the maxi cosy I've found it to be much better for my litle girl.
Initially I thought the back was too upright, but being a small baby this hasn't really been much of a problem. She's very nosey and likes to look at everything so the more upright position is perfect for her! She's nearly 1 now and still fits in it!
We bought the isofix base which makes life so much easier when we get her in and out of the car. I've also used it in the back of my husbands 3 door corsa and not had a problem fitting it with the seatbelt.
I didn't find it too expensive - but we bought out buggy and car seat as part of a package deal so saved some money :)

Too Upright For Younger Babies, My Sons Head Keeps
Too upright for younger babies, my sons head keeps flopping over. The more reclined car seats look more comfortable. The base is also very wide..... not a practical buy.

Very Big - Wouldn't Fit Into My Mother Or Sister's
Very big - wouldn't fit into my Mother or sister's cars but did fit from passenger seat of my Peugeot 206 with airbag turned off. Its much too heavy to be taking in and out of the car. I planned to attach to pram when going shopping but getting it and baby in/out of car is a challenge. It wrecked my back a number of times so I just stopped using it this way. Would reccommend you get a car seat that you can continue to use up to 4 years or so and with a recline facility. Much better value and more comfy for baby. Word of warning, apparently car manufacturers will not guarantee airbag won't go off in event of an accident and having it switched off can invalidate your car insurance!!!

This Car Seat Is Terrible Bought To Go With A Pra
This car seat is terrible bought to go with a pram from mamas and papas we didnt really look at alternatives but trusted the brand and thought it must be good if it was this expensive, but it isnt it is sooo sooo soo heavy, the straps sometimes stick and i worry about the safety of the catch as you have to press the button to make it secure but this button is supposed to open not lock, the straps twist and i have had to buy additiona pads and head restraint and the strap with the fastening isnt adjustable and is awkward to get to. the seat wont come off the base easily and never first time. wish I could afford to replace it.

This Primo Viaggio Car Seat Is The Only One That I
This Primo Viaggio car seat is the only one that is compatible with my pushchair and I wanted the option of using it as a travel system. It is incredibly heavy, doesn't fit well with ratchet seat belts and is a general faff! I hate using it. Will get the maxi-cosi for next baby.

I Have A Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat
I have a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat buggy and these carseat fit on so i bought 3 for my triplets. I personally think theyre great carseats and would recommend them to anyone.
They fit perfectly in my car although i already bought maxi cosi carseats so use them in the car and leave the primo's on the buggy.
My triplets were premature and i thought these carseats were very well padded for them.

I Brought This Seat As I Was Having My First Child
I brought this seat as I was having my first child and did not really know what to look for. We purchased it and soon realised it would not go in my car with out the base. We then brought the base, and it still is a tight squeeze, but not just in my car, but most others. I feel the seat is too upright, and makes a baby sat in an awkward position when fitted in the car. This seat is also very heavy, and the handle is hard to move when the seat is placed in my car.

The Size Of The Car Seat Has Changed In The Last S
The size of the car seat has changed in the last season, it is now huge, very high backed, all to make it last longer, however it didn't last at all as I had the following problems to name a few.
I struggled to fit the Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat in my Peugeot 206, the seat belts wouldn't go around the back of the chair unless I tipped it forwards. Also I couldn't even get it in the car without tilting the seat to the side. I'm not willing to twist and turn and tilt the seat with my baby in it. I found the guides for the straps on the base to be too narrow, it was difficult to feed the seat belt into them and when I had they didn't always stay in, therefore not very safe. There is a bubble gage to check the base is level but this is only on the right and side of the base so if your fitting it in the left hand side of the car you to walk round to the right hand side to check the bubble.
We also had the same problem with the seat belts not being long enough to go around the back of the car seat in our 2006 Toyota Avensis estate. So are the seat belts to blame or the car seat???
Overall found it all to be very fiddly and too much hard work to do this every time we swapped the car seat over for the weekend. So this was returned unused.
