Dawoo DRT-10 DVD Recorder
Bought this from Comet, who were selling it as end of line. I can see why now. I took it back as faulty twice, but they just returned it saying it had been tested and had no fault. Often you cannot delete recordings, it merely holds a programme of blank title. The player does not seem to know how long these deleted programs are and thinks the disc is full. Also this all takes an age and you miss the program. Often the player will not commit recordings to disc, especially if it thinks it is full. The thing does not record the biggest part of the time and merely stops you watching the program at all while you try and record. I have scores of discs with almost nothing on them that it thinks are full. I have to try several and by the time is reads a few, the program I am trying to record is often over. Getting more discs is just getting into more mess with this machine. It also puts huge signs up over the screen, such as deleting or updating disc, which blosk the programme for minutes at a time. It is even worse than not having a recorder, at least then you would not try, and see more of the programs you could watch live. It also wants to re-tune every time you switch it on. I would warn anyone away from it and Comet.

I got this machine as a gift. I think. It has been a disaster from start to date. It would appear it has been constructed by an amateur and the internal programme written by a computer novice.

Bought this Daewoo DRT10 from Comet in December, have since returned it 3 times due to signal failure and DVD locking, was told by a man in Comet to switch it off every night at the socket! Not much good as a recorder then is it? Would not recommend it at all!

Bought This Daewoo DRT10 from Currys. Sadly they would not demo the unit, just had it on display and sold it to me on the added features. They had very little else on offer and none of them in working mode. We really wanted Panasonic but it seems they dictate what they wish to clear stock wise by limiting choices. We are still unable to get a Panasonic replacement as they have not put any into all 8 of our local stores!
