Roundup Has Been The Weedkiller Of Choice For Comm
Roundup has been the weedkiller of choice for commercial horticulturalists for several years and its relatively new appearance on the shelves of garden centres as Roundup GC has to be of great advantage to serious gardeners. It appears expensive at first glance, but you only need a fine spray onto the leaves of the weeds. It is pretty much non-toxic and is pretty harmless to all living thing apart from the weeds you spray it on. It has a translocated action ie. kills the roots of stubborn weeds, usually in one application, although be patient, some weeds take a couple of weeks to completely die!
Thanks Grimeman. Now considering NOT using it
Highwayman's comment has been copied verbatim from a standard advertising blurb for Roundup - see http://www.perfectbuy-gardens.co.uk/items/18-47665/Roundup-Biactive-140ml-Weedkiller-Concentrate.htmlFor an examination of Roundup-type weedkillers seehttp://www.pan-uk.org/pestnews/Actives/glyphosa.htm
ooops, your definitely in the dog house!!!!!
If the Weedkiller is accidentally sprayed on non weed foliage, wash it off immediately. However, it appears this mistake happened a month ago. oh well they'll be dead by now and you'll see how effective it is.
HELP!!!!
What will happen to anything that it has been sprayed on? Will it kill herb bushes and other spreading plants or will it be totaly harmless?
Because if it's not completely harmless I am in the dog house!
