Had ours for 5 yrs. Brought it in a sale extremely cheap. Plugged it in and and has worked until now. Its just died!
But for the money we paid for it, it has been extremely reliable.

It Does What It Says On The Tin! It's Not A Bad Li
It does what it says on the tin! It's not a bad little box. It has its quirks, but all boxes have them.It's not difficult to use and gives an adequate picture. Well recommend Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver, only bad points for me is the slow processor. Takes its time doing something.Sometimes difficult to interface with other equipment (video, etc).

A Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver review - I bought this unit to replace an ALBA Freeview box which suffered tuner failure, so was not pleased when the Goodmans unit failed with the same problem at just over 1 year old. When I complained to Goodmans, I discovered that they are really Alba Radio Ltd. The moral of this story is DON'T BUY anything made by Alba Radio, even if it is badged Goodmans.
Apart from the failures, both boxes were slow to react to controls and both needed frequent rebooting.
