Syracuse, Hotel Principe di Fitalia

Beautiful setting a couple of miles outside of Siracusa and within an easy cycle of the beach. This hotel really tries to make your stay as good as can be. There are bikes to borrow, a small but well equipped gym, nice pool and very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and there are nice touches like availability of free coffee and an afternoon snack at 5. We used the free shuttle to the town and to the beach. The rooms were spacious, cool and quiet. This hotel is not perfect. The food was not great and our meal on the first night was expensive and barely edible, but we would stay here again.
