Beechwood Riding School, Surrey

I started when I was about 4 and rode there until I was 10 and I must admit they were the best days of my life! The 5 day courses and own a pony for the day still have a great place in my heart and I loved the lessons there so much! I went every single week and the teachers were so nice, as were the horses and the place was just so friendly. I am so glad I went there as they taught me so much and gave me enough knowledge and confidence to buy my own horse! All I can say is thank you, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have great fun and also learn to ride in a professional and safe environment.

What can I say - the horses were lovely yet the instructors had no patience for teaching. Which is highly strange considering they are a riding school.

We were in a group lesson of 6 which was fine but were told to get on the horse before we were given any instructions on how to handle the horse! We were all expected to just know what to do and then they proceeded to shout at us if we got it wrong.

The staff were rude and untolenrant of teaching beginners.

Disgusting!!!

I would never ever recommend them.

After recently moving to the area I have tried out all the riding schools and find Beechwood to be the best. They are little more expensive but you get what you pay for. The horses are in immaculate condition, the facilities are excellent and the teaching is extremely good and informative.

If you are looking for good quality riding stables that will actually teach your child something then I strongly recommend Beechwood. If you visit the BHS website you will see that Highly Commend Beechwood on all levels from the horses, facilities and teaching.

An experience rider

I find beechwood riding school extremely expensive for the effort and the amount you learn In 1 lesson.I have experienced two pony days and many lessons but each time nothing has been very interesting.I find that all of the people there are grumpy and tell you off for no apparent reason.I find it no comparison to kingsmead riding school; Which has much more better people and also much more kinder. At kingsmead itis fairly payed, if you want to go horse riding look up kingsmead first.
