Nikon Coolpix 7600 Review - Lens Error: This Occur
Nikon Coolpix 7600 review - LENS ERROR: This occurred as I was taking rapid pics and zooming in and out. There was a horrible grating sound and the lens wouldn't close.
It did eventually but then grated on Zoom in & out. I checked Web Forums and found one bloke who said it was a common fault for a cog to come off its rail.
I now endeavoured to get the cog back on its rail.
Placing a duvet on the bed I brought the camera down swiftly but GENTLY while pressing zoom in & out.The aim being for the change of momentum to jump the cog back on the rail.
Lo & behold it worked and the camera is A1 again.
I only include this encase ,like me, the cost of repair would be more than the camera.

Other Than The Slow Flash Charge, The Nikon Coolpi
Other than the slow flash charge, the Nikon Coolpix 7600 performs well, not had any problems with it, I did send it back once to repair a cracked back TFT display, costing me around £60, but that was my fault, not the cameras.
