Criccieth, Lion Hotel

The Lion hotel is a good hotel full of character, friendly, a good place for a relaxing holiday. The food was good with plenty of choice, would be happy to return and criccieth is a good place to explore the snodonia area of north Wales it was a week well spent

Rooms suitable and a world away from "downmarket" travelodge!!

Lion Hotel Criccieth, ideally located for touring North Wales. Rooms were adequate, very clean and comfortable No noise at night to keep us awake. Marvellous welcome from receptionists who were also very helpful with any queries we had. The restaurant was cosy the food was superb. The waiters and waitresses very helpful and attentive

We had a lovely weekend break for 2 over Easter in the Lion Hotel, a friendly family-run hotel. Clean, excellent food in a wonderful location.

I was put off the Lion Hotel by the bad reviews but thought I would see for myself, I found the reviews to be unfounded.

Stay anywhere else. The Lion Hotel makes Travelodge look like luxury.
