Years ago, I lost half of my Hair from Relaxing, Weaving and Tight Hair Braiding. While getting my Hair Treated as a Weave, the Young Lady had told me about the Hair Fixer that will Repair my Damaged Hair. I decided to Purchase it from the Beauty Stores and refused to Purchase any other Products that claim to make your Hair really Grow extremely Quick. Inside the Box is some Solution that you mix with a Pill, after you Wash your Hair. However, I was using it Weekly without Washing my Hair and it seem to Grow even Quicker. However, for Years now, I have been Searching all over the World for this Product and every store told me that this Product was Dis-continued. I am very upset over this! Does anyone else out there might know where I can Purchase this Product in the NYC areas, I Truly would Appreciate because this "Hair Fixer" is a must for Damage Hair! L'Oreal, Please, Please, Please bring this back to Market? [email protected] Thanks.

I am so upset that Ineral is no longer being produced. It was introduced to me by a first class hairdresser and I have been using it for over 30 years, and it is the only product that repairs my hair when it is badly damaged. It made my hair strong and thick and soft again when it became dry and thin and started to break. It is disappointing that LOreal did not promote this wonderful product because so many companies make claims that their products do not live up to, but this one did.

I agree with you 100%..All they had to do was raise the price $5.00
and all their loyal customers would have lined up to buy it...in Bulk!
The other product that Ultima!! discontinued was CHR Moisture Concentrate.......It was the BEST moisture product ever made. I'm thinking about taking both of these products to a chemist and have them
made.
Good luck trying to find Hair Fixer, I've given up. But I will tell you, I used to buy it at Sally's for about $9.00 a box and when I found out it was discontinued, I bought the last box available at Amazon for $64.00
So I probably like it as much if not more than you do....

Very upset to learn that this wonderful product is no longer manufactured by L'oreal - it wasn't promoted by the company, became only available through Sally Beauty Stores and flew off the shelves. I actually contacted L'oreal to please reconsider discontinuing this product and make it available again - just got a lousy form letter and I will no longer buy L'oreal products ever again. I believe it was the ingredient ineral that made this hair fixer improve the body, shine, quality of the hair shaft improvement work so well. I did 2 treatments a week and would buy this by the dozen at a time. I have yet to find anything that equals this wonderful hair product.

I am devastated this product will no longer be made. I have no idea why they stopped making it. It was the best thing out there for thin/damaged hair or just to maintain the beauty of your hair. UHHHH!

Hi Muri & all of you Hair Fixer searchers!
I tried to find this Botica Popular online...thinking, okay, I'll just order it from Curacao...but no luck. Do you have an address or phone # or email address or website for this place? Maybe we can order cases! lol I'm not really kidding though! *sigh* Let us know...

I see that i am no longer the only one with this idea. This product was the best I ever used to have healthy hair. My sister bought this in Curacao at Botica Popular, a pharmaceutical store. The hairfixer is a product l'oreal can produce again and promote in all countries for healthy hair growth. Can't find a better product like that again. (Sighing)

I can't believe you feel the same way I do...and you did the same thing I did! I wrote to them too. AND I'm spending a fricking fortune trying to find an acceptable replacement. I've even printed out the ingredients...then I match them to other products. NOTHING!
It was the best product EVER! BTW, I can't find a chemical named 'Ineral.' So, I don't know what that means. But, if you've found anything, please comment here...and I will too.
Your sister in MISERY!!! :(((

One post said that they only sell it at one store. I first bought this product in 1980. Back in the days when I set my hair & did a hair dryer for 1.5 hours. I loved it back then then, at that time it was purchased at any CVS-type/drugstore. I moved on to other products and thought about it again about 6 months ago and found it a run-of-the-mill beauty supply store. Now that I blow dry the results are different so I'm still trying to find that right combo for me. With conditioner or without (as recommended). Over all I would recommend the product. The one minor plus I suppose is that it certainly won't hurt your hair.

It is a great product but horrible company- They only sell it through Sally's and it isn't promoted. I worry that it will eventually not be made and all because the marketing department at Inderal are sleeping on the job . It used to be sold through Albertson grocery stores and others and several styles of hair fixer. Not any more- Only Sally's is ALLOWED to sell it. BIG STUPID MISTAKE. NOW today, Sept 3, 2010, Sally's is out of it in most of their stores. Thanks Indeeral- you have crushed your own product you DUMMIES! Just like GM crushed their electric cars. STUPID.

l'oreal Ineral Hair Fixer
I have not purchased this item in the UK since living here for over 10 years and it shows in my hair. But when I lived in a America I used this item religiously for years after every shampoo, before and after colouring my hair and everytime I permed my hair.
I am caribbean with good quality growing hair but after years of colouring, perming, straightening and blowing drying even my hair needed some help. Using this product, particularly after 3 applications, my hair was growing like wildfire and the quality and texture of my hair was amazing, thick, feeling and looking healthy and little or no breakage in spite of colouring, perming and shampooing. In fact I was happy to shampoo my hair more often just to use the product - I havent been able to find in UK so ordered several boxes from US as my hair has suffered for not using for so many years - looking forward to better looking and feeling hair.

L'Oreal The Hair Fixer (Ineral) is the product to get if your hair is "hopelessly damaged" and you're thinking of cutting it off. It will work a "miracle" in repairing your hair. I've used it after a major "hair-fry" (over-processing a relaxer on color-treated hair), and it turned a French-fried haystack with massive splits/breaks into soft, smooth non-breaking hair again. As I said above, it works best if you use a clear non-conditioning shampoo, and you shouldn't use any other conditioners while you're using the hair fixer (their "coating action" will block penetration of the product). You mix the hair fixer "lotion" and a "tablet" in a "special applicator" and apply it immediately to freshly shampooed hair. It may take a whole series of treatments. Each treatment "builds" on the last, gradually rebuilding the hair (one box = 6 applications) - (mine took two series), but, it will fix the hair permanently (until you damage it again) to a "normal" non-damaged looking/feeling state.

I say the same. It is the only product that repairs the shaft of the hair and it penetrates like a glue to hold it together. I have search all the Sally Mae's and it is discontinued according to them. Can it be purchased online then? Please bring this product back because it does what it says.
