Out Of The Box You're Immediately Impressed By The
Out of the box you're immediately impressed by the Panasonic TX32PS12C's sturdy construction of the cabinet and it inspires confidence in the product.
Once set up I put a DVD on and thought the picture was suberb. Very contrasty and very sharp, just how I like my picture to be. However once I started to 'live' with the set I noticed some dark smears on the screen when viwewing sports. Once noticed I started to see it whenever there was a predominance of one colour on the screen. IE A bright sky, lots of grass etc.
The sound was okay but nothing to write home about and at times I struggled to make out the words.
In the end the smeary picture was doing my head in so I changed it for a Philips 32/9308 and haven't looked back. It's shame because this is a well made set and Panasonic have a deserved reputation for quality but on this set the picture and sound weren't quite as good as the Philips.
