“Dirty car and poor customer support”

The car was absolutely dirty and you could tell it has not been cleaned or desinfected. Unfortunately I only found this out when I got to my destination and was not going to go back to Faro. I complained and the employee said he could not do much and that there’s no point of me making a scene just to get discount or benefits... so rude, just shows the lack of customer support. “Stay away”

his company used to be very good - we have rented cars with them for years (usually 3-4 times a year, every time we went to the Algarve). However, now that Tourism is again on the rise in the Algarve, they seem to have become rather greedy and dishonest. When we returned the car, they claimed we had a cut tyre. This is not true. “Warning Excess Charges - Poor Service”

We were very disappointed with our recent car hire from Faro airport on the 21-28 October. Upon returning the car on Saturday evening we were informed that the car would be subject to a cleaning charge of 25-50 euros due to a small amount of sand within the footwells and on the rear seat. As part villa owners we have been hiring a car from Autorent for the past 15 years and this has never happened before. “Do not use Autorent if you want to enjoy your...”

We have rented a car for a week from Autorent. There was only one member of staff at Faro airport and a queue for pick up and return, I waited at least 20 minutes on both occasions. The car, a black seat ibiza, had quite a few scratches and dents but was in an acceptable state. Our nightmare started three days into our holidays. “Don't use AutoRent - They do not care”

We hired an estate car from Autorent in Portugal for 8 days after using Enjoy Car hire as a broker. It was to cost us about €500. We picked up the car and were advised that it had been in a collision the week before and they had not had time to fix it. If we had problems, then we should call them. “I have been scammed by this Company. I hired a car for...”

I have been scammed by this Company. I hired a car for 3 days, picked it up, accepted that there was minor damage to the side and rear bumper. Returned the car early on day of departure. As no attendant available I was instructed to leave the car in the car park with the keys in the visor.
My credit card was subsequently charged without my knowledge by 100 euros. On investigation the firm id not respond to me I had to dispute the transaction wth my credit card. Eventually they responded to say… Read Full Review
