Last week I did 60000 mile servicing value pack with them. I had to come back next day to fix the car again because I could not drive my car over 20 miles. They suppose to change the oil to semi-synthetic but they gave me regular one.
They also over charged me as specified in the website. Their customer service is worst than ever. I will not recommend anybody to go there.

“I've owned a half dozen different cars in my lifetime,...”

I've owned a half dozen different cars in my lifetime, and I've NEVER had the type of problems with a car or a car dealer as I have had with Bob Howard Auto Group. They back-dated my lease (charging me for the week before I took possession of the car) and "forgot" to tell me that the car was known to be defective before I signed the lease.

Bob Howard does not, in my opinion operate in a manner that business concerned with return business should. Due to my recent dealings with them, they will never see me on their lot again. They honor their word only as long as the dollar flow is in their favor. As soon as it wasnot, they backed out.

“Had issue with sunroof in car, car was still under...”

★★★☆☆

written by banksta4 on 17/10/2008

Had issue with sunroof in car, car was still under warranty. They took it to the car manufacturer lot to get it checked out and told me it would be an all day job, I decided to schedule an appt with manufacturer lot closer to me. When I got there they looked at it and very quickly pointed out that the problem wasnt with sunroof, but was with the body. I told the Bob Howard store this and the salesperson I spoke to suggested I was being given the runaround. I scheduled appt with the SAME manufacturer lot they took it to originally, and wouldnt you know it, they were quickly able to tell me the same thing the other manufacturer lot told me... that it was body issue and not covered by warranty. So after making about two 2 hour trips back and forth, I finally was scheduled for Bob howard auto groups body shop to fix the body problems that were causing the sun roof to malfunction. I have called up there 2-3 times this past week asking for an approx date that the car will be ready to go, and so far have not received call back to tell me any info. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere for car purchase issues. I was overall happy about car purchasing process and the sales people that worked with me, but as soon as I had an issue it seems like I took a back seat to everything and felt very dissatisfied with my treatment. I feel I have been given very little respect and made to feel like they were doing me a favor by doing this, after the fact that they promised before I bought the car to fix it no matter what. It seems like most car lots have about the same prices for the same cars, and most other dealerships care about customer satisfaction a heck of a lot more than Bob Howard dealerships, so I would advise purchasing elsewhere for automobile issues.

“In late July ('07) I called Bob Howard (Auto Group)...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by drf74834 on 04/11/2007

In late July ('07) I called Bob Howard (Auto Group) Dodge Chrysler on the Broadway Extension in Oklahoma City to report that earlier that month I'd noted the silver colored lamination on the front Chrysler wing emblem had peeled off (like a banana) while I was spraying it with cold water at a car wash in Chandler. A service rep said to bring it in on Aug. 3rd (so that he could photo it and submit it to Chrysler). I scheduled an oil change for that date and brought the mini van in. (Note: The day I was directed to bring the vehicle in was just beyond the warranty expiration, while the date the lamination defect was noted was well within the warranty period.) After the oil change was completed, I was billed for six quarts. When I pointed this out, they said it was due to an incorrectly programmed computer and corrected the bill. But someone opined that the warranty had expired, because, a couple of days later, they left a message on my phone saying that Chrysler had denied the claim, with no reason given. I wrote to Bob Howard Auto Group who replied stating that they would give me a new Chrysler wing emblem at their cost ($215) and install it for free. I subsequently had the work done by Best Auto Body (here in Chandler) who ordered a new emblem which they charged me $169 for. A few days ago, I was telephoned by the Chrysler Customer Service Department in Auburn Hills, Mi. During that conversation, they stated that they had been willing to accept the claim in the first place so there must have been a miscommunication on behalf of Bob Howard Auto Group.

“I have been looking to buy a car since last Tuesday. I...”

written by kryptohaze on 23/04/2007

I have been looking to buy a car since last Tuesday. I was looking for either a used car, or a new car with rebates. I had about $2000 negative equity, and knew exactly what I could afford. After spending all of my free time from Tuesday - Friday evening at some big name dealerships. I kept finding salesman who did nothing but tried to up-sale me on cars that I didn't like for more than they were worth. This I expected so no real gripe here. But, at about 7:00 on Friday I was able to make my way up to Bob Howard Auto Group, Oklahoma City, OK. I ended up with a salesman who actually listened to my wife and I, and paid equal attention to what we both were looking for. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything that night (we were there after they closed) or to not come back the next day if we wanted. We got a great value on our trade in, and at the end of the day we ended up with a certified vehicle, with 25,000 miles, at a price that we were comfortable with (about 2k less than they were asking for it online). We were there till about 1 am and everything worked out great. We got a Carfax report on the vehicle, and after getting home I looked up the resale value on the vehicle and confirmed that I did get a much better deal then what I was asking for. I'm not saying I would make him my daughters Godparent, but I doubt I will ever have a car buying experience that worked out as well as last night did. So, if you are looking for a car, call this guy. I will also note that this week was not the first time I bought a car, and I'm not someone who tries to play games with the dealerships. I was well educated about my personal finances and what my banks restrictions were. I was also completely ready to buy something that night. All of the above will go great lengths when dealing with any salesman. And, lets not forget that sometimes the numbers just fall in the right place, and some days things will work when others wont.
