“Terrible coverage and poor customer service”

I went with three purely for the free roaming, which is great. However I didn't realise that I would be sacrificing my coverage in the UK for this, where I have had quite a few 'no service' labels, most significantly at home, which isn't convenient. “Debit Card Security with 3 Mobile”

In May of last year I cancelled my mobile contract with THREE for no reason other than I couldn’t get a signal either at home (other than via the app) or at work. “PLEASE DON`T BOTHER!”

Before I got a contract with them I tried a SIM PAYG just in case. Just as well as 3 sent a voicemail (with nothing in) every time I started the phone. Looked on line but all the guff there didn't work, so I contacted 3. I didn`t know all the call centres were in India. NO one really understood what the problem was - 1st chap said the VM wasn`t set up It WAS...I had to wait 4 hours. Still no resolution to the problem. “Blocked my SIM with no notification and no reason”

I'll keep this short. Basically Three blocked my sim which meant I could only make emergency calls. Being disabled my mobiles my lifeline. They said that I was using the calls not make non-personal calls and to this day I don't know what the hell that means. 3G took money from my current account for three years even though I have never opened or requested an account with them I noticed a direct debit for a small amount after retirement and finding more time to look more closely at outgoings. “Service for the people?”

“3 only gets worse.”

In UK, you'll be lucky to get more than 40% signal. (Abroad, roaming, 75%+ is normal). The download rates are appalling, & when downloading, it impossible to load a web page. The service center, in Pune I think, is next to useless: the very friendly & polite staff have no technical knowledge, & just abide by a set script. Nothing wrong with half of this review guys. He's just moaning because Three will be improving network and giving you No Service for that. ;) Nothing wrong there... I think it's a lot better than 40% though lol! Customer Services is always a problem with the customers 100% likely.

I was with three for a 24 month contract. They are absolutely awful. Lots of hidden charges that are incurred without you knowing. I was on a £20 a month contract with free minutes, unlimited internet and texts but managed to have £126 charged to my bill for answering an international call. They are really unprofessional on the phone and pushy. It took me 30 minutes wait time (call made at 3pm) and then another 30 to get the PAC code. I would honestly say they are not worth it. I first joined Three about two years ago and back then they had the best deals going. For £18 on a 30 day rolling plan (SIM only) I got 2,000 minutes, 5,000 texts, unlimited data, and unlimited tethering. And when they said unlimited they really did mean unlimited. The only fair use policy was 1TB a month - that's 1,000GB, double the size of most laptop hard drives. Safe to say you probably wouldn't download that much. I've been with 3 for 2 years. So after my initial contract ended I was qualified for an upgrade. I did this over the phone and my phone was delivered within a day. However, it was delivered with the wrong Sim card!! A micro, pay as you go Sim with a different number. This was not compatible with my iPhone 5s. “Rubbish”

Dreadful signal a lot of the time and its very slow. Even though i have a blackberry which is on contract my blackberry messenger stops working quite frequently. The network changes to 'sos' sometimes even when i am in my local area. The service is very poor and needs sorting out. The internet service is quite good but over all its a pile of rubbish!
