My family and I recently stayed for a long weekend at Woodyhyde Courtyard in Corfe which was a brilliant place to stay with our 5 small grandchildren. The indoor pool was absolutely ideal for them all. The only disappointing thing was that none of us slept very well due to the very uncomfortable noisy beds/mattresses. We enjoyed our stay in Dorset very much and will return most definately.

Woodhyde is a wonderful campsite in the village of Corfe Castle with three separate fields, one of which has a characteristic steam train line through it. Don't worry, they only come through in the middle of the day and even then not overly often. The shop sells everything from the standard gas canisters and food to walking sticks and hiking knifes. The owners are friendly and always available to help. Always able to get a good nights sleep there but if you want to make a bit more noise you can request to go in the end field, which is more out of the way and there is no-one to disturb.
I have stayed here twice now for a total of two weeks, my girlfriend and her family have been going there for 16 years and it is fantastic. I strongly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Cracking little campsite.
Briliant little store with everything you can possibly require for camping should you forget anything.
The steam train is the icing on the cake for some truly English style camping.
Highly rated.
