We have just flown from LHR to Delhi and back. After reading some reviews we had concerns. These were unfounded. The flights were on time, seats comfortable, large selection on entertainment, complimentary drinks, food was satisfactory, better than some and the staff very attentive and helpful. I hope this puts some travellers minds at rest.

My travel agent introduced me to Jet's UM policy (I booked my son as a UM on Jet Airways to New Delhi). Their unaccompanied minor policy is absolutely elaborate and fairly easy to understand.

I travelled on jet london-delhi-london last week; w0121-0122 .going out to delhi was a full house flight but crew coped admirably. I found the toilets very well maintained and functioning throughout. Due my own mistake I did not specify an aisle seat and felt a bit claustrophobic. I requsted for a supply of oxygen to feel comfortable.this was done very promptly and hostesses kept asking me if they should announce for a doctor which was not necessary but their concern was genuine. For the return leg I decided to visit jet office in connaught place. Within minutes they were able to organise an aisle seat making return journey ever so. Comfortable. However, there should be concern at head office about taste of food served. All the ingredients are there but food is bland. I think jet's caterers could learn indian meals preparation from our countrymen at heathrow. There is a lack of imagination. We were served tea and icecream in the space of five minutes. Jet was testing condition of passengers teeth !! But I take my hat off for inflight crew. They worked relentlessly to ensure good service. Response to special calls was prompt and uniforms smart. In fact as we were about to land at heathrow I started chatting up with one of the hostesses , she was so thrilled that someone decided to have a chat. I naturally complimented her for great service.

BOM-DXB on a Boeing 737-800. The problem of having the aircraft parked on the Santacruz terminal should be resolved once the first wing of the new International Terminal opens at Bombay, or so we dare hope. Once again, Jet's old Economy class simply must be updated to more ergonomic and space-efficient seats - though ample space is available, the colour scheme is antiquated. Cabin crew remain unsmiling for the second flight in the same 3 weeks, though there was no subtle reluctance - a chilly, formal attitude does not become Jet Airways in any class of travel. Being seated in 10D, one could see Premiere passengers being treated to the same unsmiling service. Crew remains diligent, well-coordinated and fastidious in responding to passenger requests - thoroughly professional to a standard. It is a shame that passengers need to ask for newspapers and buns (they are not offered as part of the meal tray), and for dirty cutlery to be replaced after having been served a meal [though this was executed promptly] - this will not serve Jet at all if it hopes to climb from its SKYTRAX-awarded 3-star rating to a four-star airline. Food coming from India is evidently of much better quality than food coming from the UAE. Kudos to crew for finding one the apple juice requested - excellent choice of beverages. A pleasing and smooth journey with Jet - well done to the cockpit crew for an unblemished and easy ahead-of-time arrival. The lack of AVOD is bitterly unfortunate for an airline which boasts of so much on international routes. It cannot be argued that Jet is not value-for-money, but lapses, however minor, in quality control in both cabin crew training as well as product delivery simply cannot be ignored in Jet's quest towards the excellence that it so correctly and unabashedly deserves to stand proud of; which is why Jet can so easily do much better.

After reading reviews of this airline i was a little skeptical about flying with them, but as they were the cheapest option BY FAR we had little choice but to use them! However i can honestly say that the entire journey to and from our destination was extremely pleasant!
My partner is rather tall (6"6) so we kindly asked the lady at the check in if we could have extra leg room. She was extremely helpful and phoned a number of different people in order to do this for us. She also assured us that we would have leg room on the returning flight to save us the trouble of asking again. She was extremly happy and friendly and was a good start to our trip. The Flight was on time and the inflight entertainment was better than expected. The seats were as comfortable as economy will get which was nice considering it was such a long flight! All of the cabin crew were attentive and helpful! The food was good, if not a little spicey! Even the smaller connecting flight from Mumbai to Bangkok was good. We again were given extra leg room and the staff were friendly and polite!Considering that the flight prices were so cheap compared to leading airlines i was more than satisfied with the high level of service me and my partner recieved and i will be more than willing to fly with them again!!

2 Bags were delayed into Toronto and there was no proper follow up from 9W. Finally when it came in there was no compensation as well, reason stated by the Jet Airways Staff is, since all bags were not lost, no compensation.
Anyways the journey was comfortable. Brussels Airport is not the most convenient Airport for the Transit. I can't complain assuming that BRU is offering a lot of facilities to 9W.
Would I travel again on Jet Airways? The answer is yes, most certainly.

The flights were full each way. Seat pitch was acceptable, better than I am used to on European short-haul. Entertainment system gave reasonable choice, though I am hoping the selection has changed when I fly again in October, because the two long haul flights exhausted everything I was interested in. Food was tasty - Indian in style, but the level of spicing was not high. Drinks were easily available.
Only complaint - at the end of the overnight return flight there was no paper in the toilet (nor paper towels). The crew was reasonably friendly without being intrusive. Overall this was as good a long haul economy trip as I have made - nothing was unacceptable.

My first time with JetAirways and I will definitely use them again. The seats were comfortable, the cabin crew very curteous and friendly and the food more than acceptable for flight food. I was impressed with the number of hand baggage checks which gave me a secure feeling.
The transfer at Delhi was not the hassle I expected. Very well organised.
Liked the ambient lighting in the cabin to wake those who slept.
A very pleasant journey.

I flew in jet airways in 2008 and 2009. We had really good experience.
so far i flew international in Jet Airways, British Airways, Delta, Indian Airways, Al Italia, and Continetal. Jet Airwys is the best in my experince in terms of customor serv, food, interior space/decor, seating comfort. Only draw back is Brussles air port where can hardly find anything to eat in the trasfer time!

I flew twice once from London to Mumbai and another time from JFK to Mumbai. They have new airplanes, which makes me secure at least its not old and won't have technical snag.
Seats are very spacious, on flight entertainment wasn't very good....very boring choice of movies. Food was good. Air hostess were helpful but as I said they were still amateurish. I had problems with my entertainment remote and the air hostess didn't know where the plug or switch was....
Not a bad option..at least 50 times better than Air India

I, along with many other passengers, was transferred onto a Jet Airways flight after another airline flight was cancelled, for this reason the Jet Airways flight was delayed. I have to admit though I much preferred this airline, the in flight entertainment was excellent, with a choice of over 50 movies and numerous programmes and music to listen to. I normally am not a fan of airline food but there was nothing on the menu that I didn't like, which really is saying something for me!

I like to know more about the child's travel experience as a UM on Jet?
