Ordered a comic,Haunted Mansion, for my son who had been looking for it for a while and was so excited he finally found it in this country, as he had only seen it on American websites. It cost almost £30, but he saved up for it and asked me to order it for him. Order was accepted, e mail confirmation received.Several days later, received e mail to say that order had been cancelled,with the excuse that supplier cancelled the order! Weak apology for 'inconvienience'.My son is devastated. I contacted customer service to ask why they advertise things that they can't actually supply, got e mail back again saying not their fault, it was supplier. Wouldn't give me suppliers details. Really didn't care that they upset a child!

Not the first time I have experienced problems with attitude of customer services. In the past they have taken order and money, then not delivered goods for months, due to supplier problems. They always blame suppliers. In my opinion, they should not advertise anything they don't have in stock or can be certain of getting. I have spent a lot of money with this company, but won't be spending anymore!

I would never use these again , ordered a dr who blanket for my niece , on the 7th November 2015 , and during that time there has been delay after delay , each month saying which date they expected the stock , and it never came. Now waited almost a year for this item only to be told that it is now out of stock , just totally unacceptable and I would urge everyone not to use this incompetent online company .

Used Once, Never Again.

I pre-ordered an Adventure Time Jake ceramic mug from them. The item never came and I was never contacted. Two months after the due date I chased them up (I figured I'd be generous with my wait time since it was a new release pre-order and leave them to it) and they said that it wasn't coming into stock. I asked for a refund since they had no idea when it was coming in. I was very unimpressed that they hadn't taken the initiative and had just kept my money without providing anything. They refunded me by PayPal but did it as a payment and not a refund, so PayPal took part of the money as a fee. It took weeks of chasing them up to get every penny back that they owed me. It was my first time ordering online with them, and my last.

Dont Preorder They Wont Keep To The Preorder Dates And Leave

they make you wait 2-3 months after your preorder date has been and gone and they may cancel your order. i had £524 worth of pops and vinyl idoz preorderd with this shambles of a company. and after they notified me they were refunding me of a chucky pop with blood spat they couldnt get even though ive been waiting for 2 months for it to arrive the just refunded me. so i decided to email them my demands to cancel all my pops preoerders and inc bio shocks,strain,etc all the latest ones as i was done with this silly comapany. its not the official uk one anyways its split a few years ago from its perent company wich is .com and decided to use .co.uk for itself and and its bad delievrys and bead customer service. best go else where

Worst Customer Service Ever

So I ordered a graphic novel, payment was taken, after a week I was informed it would be 3-5 weeks before delivery. In the meantime I missed out on purchasing it elsewhere. 10 weeks later I was given a refund and an "oh sorry we can't fulfil this order". I complained about the fact I'd missed out on it elsewhere and asked to take it further up as I'd had no luck with the terrible customer service. I received a very sarcastic reply from a "director" called Co**n who said a "simple interrogation of the internet" would provide me with plenty of places to purchase it from. I asked him for links to said sites, he sent me 10 sites, all useless, I explained why each and every one was useless and he just replied "oh well, sorry". I'll never use these guys ever again. the person I dealt with was the worst "director" I've ever dealt with.

Pre-orders Count For Nothing

Pre-Ordered some Pop!s months ago. The date of release I has now been and gone. Nothing posted and now saying out of stock.

Was really excited to receive them and now have nowhere else to get them from. Really Really disappointed.

I ordered 4 comic books from FP and my account was billed for them. A month ago I was sent an e-mail saying items had been dispatched. A month later and nothing has arrived. After I enquired about this FP had the audacity to say that the delivery may have been missed and that the postman might have failed to leave a missed delivery card. Any fool knows that 4 comic books are small and flat enough to fit any mailbox. There is also the fact that 2nd class packages do not need to be signed for. I don't mind if they are honest and say something is out of stock. But to charge me for nothing and then take me for an idiot? This is one of the worst mail order companies in the entire world.

Unreliable And Chaotic

I ordered 3 books for my son on 13th March. Several days later I received an email saying there was a 'problem with my card' and to re enter my details. I did so. A further delay of several days....I got an email saying they had dispatched the items and to wait 5-7 working days for them to arrive.

They did not arrive.

The company obviously needs to sort out their shipping processes - tracking every order rather than leaving it to chance that the items will arrive.

I would simply avoid using Forbidden Planet in the future.

Rubbish! Very Bad Customer Service!

they keep you waiting around for months for stock to come into there warehouse, sometimes the date they are supposed to arrive into the warehouse they go past and you have to wait another month or so for the item to arrive. once it does they are pretty good at dispatching the item. but if you have any problems with the item they are not very eager to help with the situation. they have very poor communication skills. not very good costumer service. had an issue with one of the items I bought from them. said I can return the item back on this one occasion but don't expect it to happen again!? not the sort of thing you want to hear when you are spending a lot of money in there store online!

Just Fine

I ordered two figures there about a month ago and they came today. Many had said that the store was horrible and unreliable. I saw those reviews after ordering them and regretted buying them instantly. But they did arrive after all and they are just as described. I would say not to worry just because it's slow.

The only minus i have is the shipping time and the customer service.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!

I ordered several items from Forbidden Planet in November. I am still waiting for them today. Shocking. Several emails to customer service later, I have been advised that my order wasn't processed correctly (I was fine with this, it happens) and my items are now out of stock. Great. What us more annoying is that the items I am waitmg for are now in my local FP shop.

The company seems very disorganised with little regard to the customer. I have asked for compensation (in the least I would expect some vouchers) but was told "It's not our problem so no". I am very angry as the items were Christmas presents that I ordered in plenty of time for. It wouldn't be so bad if the company were bothered.

I willing be buying again and I urge others to avoid.
