Hotel Hostal Tahiti

Hostel Tahiti is a 3 star hotel, but might as-well have been a 4 star. The hotel is right on the beach and a two minute walk to the town of Playa Es Pujols in Formentera.

The hotel itself is always kept clean and the staff very helpful and friendly, it is a bed and breakfast hotel and the selection of food for the morning is very good. It has a pool with a kind of jacuzzi to one side of it with sun loungers and parasols provided.

It is quiet and you can relax outside the front of the hotel on the sofa's, and although there are lots of guest's coming and going it does not spoil your time there.

The rooms are clean and if you have a balcony (which we did) there is not too much noise.

The two minute walk to town is good as you can enjoy the town without the evening noise when you return to the hotel.

I definitely recommend this hotel, the only problem I had was with some mosquito's who loved me, but left my wife alone.

This was the second time my wife and I had been to Formentera and we had previously stayed in Rui La Mola. While I do not wish to compare the two hotels I will say this :- Rui La Mola is in a more remote location, so to go out in the evening requires a scooter or taxi, whereas Hostel Tahiti is close to town meaning you can have a drink and a meal out and then walk back.

To see more of the Island I definitely recommend a 125cc scooter, and with places like the Hippie Market and the shopping in San Fran Sec I recommend seeing the whole island.
