“As Good As It Gets!!”

I went into the mobility store in Preston city centre to have a look at scooters, the store manager was very informative, polite and patient. I decided on buying a folding scooter, he even gave me a generous discount, full warranties and free delivery! A week later I hadn’t managed to get used to my scooter, I went back to see the store manager and he helped me choose a brand new one , more suitable to my needs., I still use it to this day. Thank you ScootaMart 5 stars

8 shops i visited with my father before we spent a day at fleetwood indoor market.what a charming place,we required a scooter to go in the car for days out,much like last saturday.my father was allowed to drive around the market on what is now his scooter making the day so much better for him.i am taking him to the trafford center today,so thank you Scootamart for giving my father a huge smile and his independence back.

“Sccotamart sold my friend a broken wheelchair!”

In early June 2018 my friend purchased a Vanos Excel wheelchair from ScootaMart. The rep came to her house and showed her the wheelchair, The Rep was very deceptive and he didn't tell us that the front wheels were damaged/misaligned and this made it near useless to use. Unfortunately we only discovered this fault after we had paid the money and attempted to use the chair. We have requested our money back, but they have outright refused!

“Terrible end of contract service”

My scooter was out of contract at the beginning of July not knowing through scooter mart but through motability I was told that scooter mart knowing I am out of contract and somebody would of should ring me about a collection well no phone call off them so I had to ring myself I was told that it should be picked up today Monday and that somebody would get back to me to arrange everything well no phone call so today Monday I rang and was assured it will be picked up at the end of the day no sign no communication and just pure ignorance I rang head office only to go through to sales who said they can leave a message for morning not any use rang my local shop bury lands and they are as bad never recommend never use again bad bad customer service

After months of struggling to walk, my nan finally agreed to look at purchasing a mobility scooter. My nan was certain after visiting the shop she would still not be happy using one. Upon entering the shop we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who proceeded to show us around the shop floor - he could not of been more helpful, he truly made my nan feel at ease as he showed her the different options and explained what scooter would be more suitable for her needs. He was so charming and helpful that myself and my nan left the shop feeling very happy. My nan has also decided she would love a scooter now! I would like to say a massive thank you to you all in Preston you are a credit to scootamart. I would recommend you to anyone!

We bought a Scootamart midi from Scootamart and they delivered next day! The adviser added a bouquet of flowers to the basket and a bow as it was for my mother surprise birthday, they even put it together for us. The service was so good I felt compelled to write this review. Normally I don't bother with such things. The scooter we bought was considerably cheaper than the nearest competitor so we were chuffed to see that the quality of the service was as good as the price. Couldn't recommend them more

Delivery was on time & very quick, full explanation of the scooter on delivery was very good. We found that the scooter we purchased was very good value for money. Scootamart have all their own models which seem far better quality and the staff treat my gran superbly. I recently had to undergo the arduous task of finding a mobility scooter suitable for my father and was daunted by the prospect. I rang 5 or 6 companies for information and help but all wanted me to pop into their stores and it seemed to me give me the 'hard sell'. On speaking to the gentleman at scootamart in the Trafford centre, he was very knowledgeable and asked relevant questions to my fathers condition. After reviewing 3 or 4 suggestions online we narrowed it down to 2 choices. Then arose the problem of my dad not being able to get to the store, so the salesman took the trouble of a home visit and my dad was able to test drive both and settle on the 1 he liked best. I would highly recommend scootamart for service, price and ease of use. A big thank you to scootamart, my father is a very happy man!!!

the only people i would talk to about scootamart is my solicitor, trading standards or motability. for instants i was told today "whatever, do one,and go away by the director brother who pretends to manage the trafford centre branch. if you buy a scooter from there don't expect any after care service. or any reply to phone calls or emails. below is the email i sent to there director with regards to my scoota mart expeirience.

Dear Mr Coe

I have decided to send you this e-mail as you don't seem to be able to return my calls.My mother purchased the above scooter for me in January as i had suffered another stoke and am now unable to walk.
We went into your trafford centre branch, your sales man sold us the scooter and gave me a delivery date, on the delivery date given i rang your trafford branch late in the afternoon to be told it was not going to be delivered on that date and subsequently gave me another date. This happened again twice and at no time was i contacted by yourselves to tell me that it was not going to be delivered and when i rang up on both occasions i was told that it wasn't down for delivery.

When i eventually got the scooter i was happy with it until i started to have problems with the accelerator, so i rang your engineer who informed me that it would be a £40 collection charge (this charge is not explained in any of the paperwork i have received) unless i took it back to the trafford centre. We took it back to the trafford centre and was told it would go to your engineers that day and i would then be contacted to come and collect it. As i had not heard from anyone i went back to the trafford centre seven days later to find not only was my scooter still in the branch it was being looked at by other customers. When i asked what was going on, the salesman turned to me and said " all the engineers were on holiday" no apology ,no do you need to loan another scooter and no date of when it would be fixed.
My mother then received a call from your engineer to ask what was wrong with the scooter ,he then explained that they were not on holiday and that nobody had let him know it was awaiting collection.
Later that week your engineer called to say it was ready for collection.

One week later i was lifting it out of my car to go to a hospital appointment, as i got the scooter in the air with the hoist ,the seat stayed attached to the hoist and the main body of the scooter fell to the floor, it was obvious that the rear wheels were damaged, i had to get a passer by to help me put the scooter back in my boot. I then missed my appoinment.

I took the scooter back to the trafford centre shop. When i told the salesman what had happened his reply was " what can i do about it"
i asked him to help me get it out of my boot as it was not drivable. I pointed out that when i bought the scooter he had told me he would need to put a bolt through the seat to stop it coming away from the rest of the scooter , but this has not been done. Also as he walked away with the scooter their was no explanation of what would happen ,i had to call out to him to say will you ring me when its done.

This whole experience has left a bitter taste, i cannot go out anywhere without my scooter, i have had to re-arrange hospital and other appointments also two members of my family are in hospital with cancer and i can't visit them.

I have called to speak to you on four occasions now and have been told you would get back to me, which has not happened.
I have now got no confidence in the scooter or scooter mart and would appreciate either a full refund along with my old scooter or a different model to the one i have been sold.
I will be sending my experience and concerns both to the readers letters in the Stroke Association Magazine DLA Lifestyle Motorbility Magazine.

Please could you look into my e-mail and get back to me please.

I agree 100% 1 am £3,700 out of pocket for a scooter and they just fob you off mine broke down after 7 weeks and just keeps breaking down they will not replace or refund avoid this company

Well done Scootamart!

After trawling the web for hours upon hours and calling so called stores getting one word answers, I called Scootamart...what a breath of fresh air! The service and attention i recieved was second to none, they advised me the most suitable models for my mother and brought them to my mothers home to try. We was so pleased we made a purchase of an elegance we she absolutely loves and nothing seemed to much trouble for this company, rare these days so thank you to all the staff.

I am so glad I found Scootamart.

I almost paid over twice as much for the same scooter from a rather unsavoury company.

I was borrowing one of their free scooters from the Trafford Centre and I happened to tell the young man that I should have my own scooter next time, we got chatting and he was able to inform me that the company, I was going to buy from, simply relabelled cheap scooters and charged thousands of pounds more than traditional outlets.

I was able to cancel and not be taken advantage of.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Scootmart for the excellent service I recently received at your Fleetwood branch. I only popped in to ask some questions about the different scooters and left with all the information I could have asked for. I then returned to the shop a couple of weeks later only to find a different gentleman, who was equally as helpful. He gave me a lot of his time and also some time alone with the scooter so that I could decide which one I wanted. The service I received was second to none. I've only recently become unable to walk after my accident in March but it's a company like this that makes life so much easier, so much so I'm thinking of buying a smaller scooter that folds down to put in the car.

I would like to thank scootamart southport for there excellent service and the time they spent with me choosing my scooter, they took my old one in part exchange and i was more than happy with the price agreed, and the after care. The gentleman in the shop took his time too find the best scooter for my needs and got me the best price possible as i could not find it cheaper anywhere else. I will recommend scootamart again and i will go back again should i want a bigger scooter, thank-you again.

I recently perchased a scooter from the Blackpool shop and found the staff there very friendly and aproachable. They dismissed any fears I had about choosing the wrong scooter by taking time and effert when I was choosing my scooter and not rushing me into buying the first one I saw. The service was second to non and the price was fantastic. My scooter was delivered 3 days after I bought it to my home at no extra charge and I was shown once again how to use it etc. I feel that I got value for money and polite service and highly reccomend them to any one wanting to buy a mobility scooter.
