In 2007 Renault facelifted the Campus which involves new bumpers and varius tweaks which made it look fresh and more modern. The 1.2 16v 75 engine feels punchy and extremely lively. The mp3/ipod point is a clever feature which has proved addictive. The i-Music model comes with plenty of toys including power steering, a CD player, mp3/ipod plug, 15" alloys, extra-tinted rear windows, sports fron seats, leather steering wheel, stereo fingertip remote control on steering wheel, intermittent wiper speed adjustment, front fog loghts and a good choice of fresh, exciting colours.
Now the Campus runs along side its big brother, the Renault Clio III as a budget option, which is by far from a bad thing. The Campus is full of character and will make you feel happy and makes and excellent first-time buy due to the low running costs and easiness to drive.
I have owned my Renault Campus Sport i-Music for nearly a year which has been a genuine touble free year (apart from a puncture). The Campus 16v is great to drive and there are deals to be had at the Renault dealers.
I would strongly recommend this car to people on a budget, but still want something smart and sporty. This is also a great first car for young drivers......buy one!
